DSM Spine Sport
Dr. Brooks and Dr. Jon provide *the best* care. I know when I walk through the doors of DSM Spine + Sport I will be greeted warmly by people who consider my well being a priority. Dr. Brooks and Dr. Jon walked me through each step of treatment on my road to recovery while answering all my concerns with detailed explanations. I left their office with a developed understanding of my injury, and the assurance that I was in the hands of individuals who would be imperative to a swift recovery. I'm really grateful I found these two. They're awesome!

Yost Family Chiropractic
My experience at Yost Family Chiropractic has been simply amazing. The staff is friendly, energetic and extremely helpful. Dr. Heather is so willing to educate and provides excellent care. I had a knee injury 4 years ago that left me in pain and discomfort everytime I ran. As an avid runner, this was extremely frustrating. I've been getting adjusted by Dr. Heather for 8 months now and running is enjoyable again! I strongly recommend YFC!

Yost Family Chiropractic
I have treated with Dr. Heather and YFC off and on when I have need for several years now. Dr. Heather and her staff are amazing and my experiences have always been exceptional. More than the chiropractic treatment, I walk away from YFC with a positive and renewed attitude for the day, which is just one more reason YFC will always be my choice for chiropractic care.

Dr Anderson had me feeling better almost immediately! I was very impressed after having to go months at another chiropractors office. Caring and professional, I would recommend Anderson Family Chiropractic to everyone!
Tips & Advices
Scoliosis is a disorder where the spine curves sideways. Most people develop the condition during the growth spurt before puberty. The cause of scoliosis is unknown and most cases are mild, but the rare severe instances can disable a person.
Orthopedic surgeons attend four years of medical school, then four to five years of orthopedic residency in a hospital. They must also be licensed and certified in orthopedic surgery by the state in which they practice.
The terms "orthopedic doctor" and "orthopedic surgeon" refer to the same profession. Related specialties include podiatrist, a doctor who works with the bones, tendons and ligaments in the feet, and a sports medicine physician, a doctor specially trained to treat athletes.
The cost of a visit to an orthopedic surgeon depends on the type of tests ordered and treatment given. For example, an MRI costs $500-$1,300. An initial consultation costs $100- $500, while anesthesia for a procedure generally ranges from $2,000-$4,000. Overall, an orthopedic surgery can cost anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000.
During a consultation or first appointment with an orthopedic surgeon, the practitioner will ask the patient a variety of questions to understand the situation. The surgeon might ask about the patient's pain levels, medical history, and any prior injuries. Then, the surgeon will administer a physical exam and possibly schedule tests to better understand the problem. Possible tests include a stress test, x-ray, or MRI.
