Hats Off Barber Beauty Lounge
Javier Torres is expecting the $700 you owe him since December for the labor and construction work he did for you to open up your shop. He doesn't want a deal for the money he's earned. He did a fantastic job on the floor and set up.

Well I haven't been in this location. Maybe I will try it. It's in Kettering so it may be cleaner. Suitland location... Making an appointment is useless. Stylists are good but you get comfortable with one and the 2 weeks, they are no longer there... Clean that salon up in suitland my kid has dermatitis... Never had this in her life before the brat Box in suitland.

Iconz 4 Kidz
My daughter has been going to this salon for years. I have been faithful even through the constant relocating. I can honestly say that today is my daughters last visit to Iconz 4 Kids. My husband took my daughter and asked for her usual hair style "half and half". When I saw my daughter her hair was done in a completely different style. Not thinking that it wouldn't be a big deal, I called that salon and asked if I could bring her back to have the style corrected. The gentleman on the phone took down my information and said he would call me back. After two hours I decided to go in person to the salon as I had some shopping to do in the same shopping center. The same man that I spoke to on the phone was sitting at the desk playing on his cellphone. He told be "oh I got busy and forgot to call you back". Again I inquired about rectifying the situation and he became irritated and extremely rude. He started yelling at me so I raised my voice and told him that I had been a long time customer and that I was not happy with how he was treating me. He became so belligerent my mother had to step in and defuse that situation. Finally after going back and forth a new appointment was made to have another stylist fix my daughters hair. I again mentioned that I had been a long time customer and that I was considering not returning because of how I was treated. His response was "fine, good for you". I have never been treated so poorly. I asked for the salon owners information and he told me that he was the owner. I highly doubt that he was the salon owner. This is no way to run a business, especially a business involving children.

Emmanuel Hair Designers
I visited this salon to have a simple touch up done by Shawn Bobo. She applied the chemical and once I was rinsed out, I notice clumps of my hair coming out. She tried to hide it by preventing my to view the mirror. She then took the hair that was falling out and refused to give it to me when I asked for it. I felt her roughly pulling thru my hair and got up to look in the mirror and then saw my hair matted and so clumped that a comb/brush could not be used. I immediate asked her to refrain from touching my hair but she actually pulled my arm and pushed me into the chair by my shoulders and started roughly pulling through my hair again. I got up from the chair again and and asked her to keep her hands off of me. I fell into tears as I assessed the damage of my hair in the mirror. In an attempt to hide the damage from other customers she put me in a room in the back which I refused to remain in. OTher patrons saw my hair making comments of how terrible her services was because I would have to have my hair cut being the clots of hair would not come out. I did not want further damage to my hair so I had to leave the salon with wet, tangle, broken, damaged hair. At no time did Shawn apologize or take ownership of the situation. SHe tried to blame this disaster on my hair being oily. Once all clumps were removed I had a 10 inch diameter ball of hair which broke off. In order to even my hair it will have to be cut to ear length. My hair at arrival of the salon was past shoulder length. i am filling complaints against this salon and the stylist. I only gave it one star because that was the lowest available. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON OR HAVE SHAWN BOBO STYLE YOUR HAIR.

Christol Salon
I took my granddaughter to this salon to get cornrows. This was the worst, job of doing cornrows I have ever seen. I could have done better and I don't do hair. I would never recommend this salon to anyone. The cornrows my granddaughter have will not last a week. $35.00 for what?

Iconz 4 Kidz
They moved, but good. The owners appeared to be stressed and very unpleasent to to clients and stylists are saying they are leaving because of the pay. This salon is not a kids place because it is too uptight. Anyone can paint walls yellow, blue and green and call it a kids salon, but it takes a caring people to deal with kids in any environment. The prices are too high and you pay for every thing. I will not go there because the new location is too far, but I hear there is a new kids salon in that same location in Kettering. Iconz, stick to adults. You have no patience for kids.
Tips & Advices
Provide the landscape designer with photos of designs you find attractive and might want to emulate. Gardening and architecture magazines can be useful in this regard. It's also important to let the landscape designer know how the  space should function. For example, a space that is being used as a play area for kids will have different objectives from a space being used to entertain friends. Finally, have a clear idea of how much you are looking to spend, since this will impact the build choices made by the landscape designer.
Interior designers can generally work on every type of room, but one should not assume that all of them can work on every type of space. More complicated projects--for example those in buildings with historic preservation strictures, or those that are going for sustainability certifications--will be suited to interior designers with specific expertise. Also, interior designers that have experience in a certain type of project may not want to take on projects that are outside their expertise. For example, an interior designer who has only worked on commercial projects may not want to do a small private home.
Every interior designer has their own style, but some designers are more versatile than others. Some really do specialize in functionality and code compliance, whereas others are more focused on aesthetics. Interior decorators are completely focused on visual impact, and therefore should be reviewed and selected based on how well their style is a match for the client’s tastes.
Full-service interior design starts with an assessment of a site and the client’s long-term needs for that space. It encompasses concept design, floor plans and lighting plans, providing project specifications to contractors, supervising  contractor negotiations and installations, applying for permits, and shopping for all the materials and pieces for the project. On top of this, there are the “decorator” deliverables, i.e. creating the aesthetic of the space, selecting wall colors/covers and furniture pieces, purchasing products and installing them.
An interior designer may come into a development project very early on, working with the developer and architect from the pre-construction phase. They may be the one to design floor plans, decide where to place interior walls, and supervise contractors that are installing elements of the build. They often work on commercial projects, although many of them work on residential projects. Interior designers can “switch hats” and do interior decoration, which means they are only focused on the aesthetic elements and visual components of a residence.
