I couldn't believe how knowledgeable and well-informed the staff was. They were able to answer all my questions, except the ones they needed to have their boss's input on. It was great to be able to talk to such a skilled staff. As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long. I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here. Although I have not had much to complain about, I have noticed that they strongly adhere to the customer is always right policy and if anything goes wrong make every effort to correct the situation. One of the first things I noticed about this business was how many different areas of the building were handicap-accessible. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they really spent a lot of time to accommodate people with all different needs.

Dr Saad & his wife Dr Dauger are an excellent team. They were assigned to my son by the hospital when he was born. My son had complications after birth with an infection and was in the NICU for 10 days, after that he had additional complications & was hospitalized for another 2 days. During the time Dr Saad ordered many tests. We were so thankful he was thorough because we found my son had a heart murmur and also apnea related to reflux. He came home on an apnea monitor & I believe it saved his life 3 different times. If Dr Saad had not been so thorough I'm not sure what would have happened with my son. I have another son who has major gastrointestinal issues and at one point when he had reoccurring pain Dr Saad recommended a medication that my son's G.I. specialist from Loma Linda had overlooked. It didn't solve the problem but it did bring my son tremendous relief. This helped reassure me that not only is doctor very capable for everyday pediatric care but also in specialized cases.

I had my son at the hospital very sick and doctor Saad was not my Pediatrician but he worked at the hospital where my son was. Dr. Saad saw my son and re- assured us that he would recover and not to worry. He also told my wife he wanted to be my son's Doctor and take care of him till he was 18. I'm so happy to have found him and also his wife Dr. Dagher. It's almost impossible to find such caring people now on Day.

I AM TRULY AMAZED BY DR. SAAD AND HIS WIFE, DR DAGHER. HAVING A BABY FOR THE FIRST TIME IS NOT EASY BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS. I CALLED THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE ON A SATURDAY NIGHT AND ASKED TO HAVE HIM PAGED. HE CALLED BACK WITHIN 5 MINUTES AND ANSWERED MY QUESTION. HE IS EXTREMELY THOROUGH IN HIS EXPLANATIONS. THE STAFF CAN BE A LITTLE BIT FRIENDLIER, BUT HE IS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY CARING.

Dr. Freddie F Balguma, MD
When my daughter was born with Transposition of the Great Vessels with VSD, Dr. Balguma was called in to be her cardiologist. He explained to me what was wrong with her and answered every question, in a way that I could understand. He and his office staff were always polite and friendly and always made us feel comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Balguma to anyone that is in need of a pediatric/cardiologist.

I wouldn't think of going to another Doctor because I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Smiley. Trust me, I have had some doozies in the past. I will be honest, I take part of the blame but I feel like the Doctors should have my best interest in mind. I appreciate the fact that Dr Smiley is honest and will lay out all the facts. I am able to make rash decisions because of his unsightliness.

Love them!! Very efficient, knowledgeable and compassionate! I have a child w a heart condition and weak immune system. They get him in immediately if needed. They never overbook so much that you wait for hours. Take their time finding the best treatment plan and actually listen to what you are saying and take it to heart. All 3 of my kids love them as well. Couldnt be happier

I came in to get a second opinion on a ongoing problem. I was able to discuss my condition with Dr. Smiley. The results and opinion have been evaluated and the outcome and recommendations are significantly different. I am going to research further into these results and appreciate the help from all at California Surgical Institute.

I was recommended to Dr. Smaili from a family member. I came to see him and had my consultation with him. He appears to be a very knowledgeable and caring person who has had a lot of experience in his field of Plastic Surgery. I have scheduled my appointment for the procedure. Thank you for making me feel confident in you .
Tips & Advices
An osteopathic physician practices a comprehensive form of medicine that takes a holistic approach to a person's health. Instead of specializing in one system or set of organs, an osteopathic specialist focuses on the health of the total body. This includes evaluating environmental factors that affect a person's well-being.
Many family doctors deliver babies, especially in rural areas without a nearby OB/GYN. However, most family doctors only deliver for low-risk pregnancies and do not perform cesarean sections.
Family nurse practitioners are highly educated nurses able to provide medical care individually or with the assistance of another professional. Family nurse practitioners obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then take the National Council Licensure Examination to begin working as a registered nurse. Then, they continue their education and obtain a Master of Science in Nursing. Following that, they become certified in family practice via the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, allowing them to become certified family nurse practitioners.
Some family doctors provide immunizations while others do not. Typically, doctors who work as part of a large practice are more likely to offer vaccines in-house. Doctors in offices of one to two physicians are more likely to refer patients to a public health department or other immunization provider.
A physician's assistant is a person qualified to perform routine medical services. This individual is professionally licensed and certified, but they may not have the extensive med school education of a doctor. That said, PAs do complete almost three years of postgraduate study and more than 2,000 hours of rotations.
