I should have done this Review when she completed my case and represented me so successfully in 2011. She was paid well and frankly I didn't know about Reviewing Disability Attorneys, makes sense of course, it just didn't ring my bell.My case was dumped on Ms Allen at the eleventh hour and I was indeed blessed that she agreed to drive to Houston, TX to represent me. She relieved my fears with her own calm and confidence that I relaxed a little. She treated me with a sense of decency that was absent with the initial attorney so it mattered immensely. She was charming, personable and related so well to my fragile state at that time. Here I am today 4/7/15 hoping to receive her services once again. There are not enough stars to rate Ms Cheyenne Allen :)
@ jeffh9462, I have not ever used Ms Allen, but when I received my SS disability in California, that was the exact way my attorney talk to me during the first phone call, and my reaction was pretty much the same as yours. But I am persistent, so I called back. He explained that I passed his initial test, because that is how he measures the sincerity of his clients...if you really believe you have a case, you won't give up so easily. Not saying you didn't/don't have a case, just letting you know that sometimes the surface is just that: the surface, and what lies beneath it is your lucky day. It damn sure was mine, 46K later, after fees, Medicare and 4 years of patience
I have known Earl Drott both personally and professionally for over twenty years. He has always shown me to be honest, professional, deligent, and totally committed to his family, community, and the clients he represents. Earl is the lawyer you want on your side when you need legal representation. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs a legal advocate. Charles Ray, owner Ray Engines, Inc.
When my father passed away, I found myself faced with issues I didn't know how to deal with! I was left the responsibility of caring for my grandmother without the legal right to do so. Leonard has been a huge help to my sisters and me as we have navigated these unknown waters. He is easy to get in touch with and has led us carefully through every step. He truly desires to help his clients.
After our initial consult, this lawyer was hard to find. Hard to talk to, not available / "out of the office". When I need a lawyer, for one, I need someone I can talk to. He reacts sharply to basic questions that any commoner would have. I don't need another smarta$$ if I'm needing a good lawyer. There are much better lawyers available. A good lawyer treats you with courtesy.
Cheyenne Allen was professional, knowledgable, and very helpful from the moment we came into contact. She represented me and my case well, and I am so thankful for her assistance. The guy who gave her one star must be thinking of a different lawyer. Thank you Ms. Allen!!
We have known and relied upon Richard for almost 20 years. He is brilliant, thorough, and straightforward. But just as important, he is so kind and is a very honest, trustworthy adviser. Those qualities are rare and we are very glad to have him as our family attorney.
R.Kelly Pace seems like a very awesome lawyer and seems like he will take very good care of his clients. He called the police that kept harrasing me and told them to leave me alone and if they have something to say call him and talk to him about it.
The attorneys at the firm are very efficient and do a great job of taking care of their clients. Very dedicated and keep the client in the loop. I would certainly recommend this firm to anyone seeking legal advice.
I would highly recommend Cheyenne if you're looking for a disability attorney. She was always there to answer the phone and always there to answer my questions. Not to mention, she won my case. 10 stars!
- You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
- The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
- You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
