Fish City Grill
Dined here with family the day after Christmas. The venue felt homely but the experience was not so thrilling. he food was tasty but other places serve similar dishes that taste better. The temperature of the entrees concerned me as well. I didn't think anything was under-cooked but they could have been served the entrees hotter. I ordered the gumbo, a friend shrimp plate and split an order of oysters with the table. The oysters were tasty but the cheese was very chewy, making for an improper balance. It has good flavor but just too chewy. The gumbo has more of a traditional taste but was packed with way too many ingredients and not enough broth to have a balanced experience. I probably wouldn't order it again. The shrimp plate was good. The fries were chewy as well and I like crisp fries. My wife ordered the crab legs. They were pretty good but they were very soft when cracking. Just a note for those who prefer a firmer crableg. All in all, the experience was okay. I'd probably go back for more oysters but that's about it, unless dining with others.

Jumbo Seafood
For years my family and i have enjoyed good quality affordable ( very affordable) food here. One of the main reasons was because of the literal JUMBO shrimp they actual had. Operative word being- had. Now when you order their ' jumbo' shrimp their half the size, yet higher in price( a buck more) than when they were the size of onion rings. The shrimp were so huge that when you got your plate they were butterflied. Hence, why I said the size of onion rings. Either there's a shortage in large shrimp, or the munchkins they're buying them from have injected some of their DNA. And guess what? I'm not in the land of oz. If you advertise Jumbo- I want Jumbo. Not half of a butterflied shrimp but the whole thing. I'm paying full price so I want the full shrimp. The food is good but fell low Tylerites I won't be following the 69 or 323 paved road back to munchkin food land

Poch's Rice Cafe
Food was great, was way more than I could eat, will have tomorrow for lunch. The Egg Rolls are the best I've eaten in Tyler. Had a choice of soup or egg roll and I wanted to try both, maybe next time. Thinking the owner's children were there eating. They were having Pot Stickers, they looked great, wanted to try that too. This place is near my home, prices were in line and the quantity was way more than I could eat. Joy and I can share a dish. I wish them good luck because I hope to eat there again and again. The Hot and Sour soap was only $1.62, that's my favorite, great quick lunch. The place is located in that little strip center at 64 and the loop. Can't ask for much "Atmosphere" I was the only customer at 8:PM on a Monday night. Y'all try it out, I want them to do well so they'll stay.

Red Lobster
I love Red Lobster food, usually! This was an exception. The service and biscuits were great. The seafood stuffed flounder meal was comical at best. The small portion of fish was like mush. My wifes lobster was even bad. The lobster was like chewing on rubber. All of the food seemed like it was overcooked in a micro wave. The menus and table top where sticky, and there was alot of crumbs and a few hunks of food on the foor. All-in-all a very bad dining experience at this Red Lobster location, and definitely not worth the money.

The Burger Grind
Heard this place had opened and went to try it out with several friends. They have a great variety of burgers, and a make your own menu. Sweet potatoes fries which I love and also regular. and curly fries. The meat was fresh, juicy and cooked to perfection. The service was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definately be back. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fish City Grill
Loved it! Great food and service, wish we lived closer to Tyler. We told them it was our first time there, they brought us little soup samples! Wow, sooooo good, I picked the crab bisque it was terrific!! Great margarita too. We don't like loud music and theirs was 70-ish and unobtrusive. Will certainly visit again when we have the opportunity :)

Kawas
The family and I decided to try this new place. The decor and ambiance was very nice. The food tasted good. There's was nothing special about the flavor or cooking technique. Be aware that they do uncharge for fried rice and they serve noodles complimentary as well.

I've been here a couple of times. And it is delicious. But the service is cold. They're not friendly. Well at least not to us. I've notice this every time. And I'm not the only one who see it. Food is great. Guess u don't mind crappy service for great food. Or do I?

Just a moment...
