My husband always rely upon me to choose where we'll eat out at if one of us don't cook on a particular night. Well, normally I'll go to places we've patronized before but decided I would surprise him with somewhere different. So like I do with anything else before I /we spend our money, I researched the place. Let me be honest here, I have no idea what planet, galaxy, town, or time zone the other NEGATIVE reviewers went to when reviewing this place but its no where near the place or experience we had. As soon as we walked in we were sweetly greeted and told we could sit wherever we wanted. Next, Kirby our waitress attended to us as if we were near and dear to her. Amazing!!!! Our appetizer then entrees were bought out before we could drink half of our beverages. And Hadley at the bar was so courteous and friendly, she multi - tasked like no other! This place rocks! The waitress checked on us constantly and the food was presented beautifully and tasted divine. A true GREAT place!!

Skyline Cafe
If you like Burgers, Rubens, Fresh salads or a good Deli sandwich this is THE place to go. We have been going out here for lover 4 years and are always welcomed like part of the family and food has always been FRESH and perfect. When I say perfect, I've been to some places and ordered a sandwich and go back and the taste is not the same or they changed products. At Skyline cafe no matter who fixes the food in the kitchen it ALWAYS has you leaving with that taste of I cant wait to come again for another one Black Bean Burger Wrap. Becky and Larry (owners) really have done a great job with quaint little place and the waitstaff has always made us feel at home. Oh, before I forget, I eat Gluten Free and they have a GF menu (-:, and desserts are all homemade and they even have some GF Cheese Cake that is also sugar free but i swear it sure taste like NY Style Cheese Cake with sugar

Jucy's Old Jacksonville Hwy
I have used the Jucy's on 5th for years and have always been pleased and would recommend them. The one on Old Jacksonville I use from time to time if I am out that way shopping or what have you. When I use the drive thru I get good service and my food is right. When I order inside, whether to-go or dine in, it is always something.Fries missing when I get home or my order sits on the counter without someone buzzing our buzzer or bringing it out to us before it gets cold, employees visiting with their families in the dining room ignoring guests, sections closed off an hour and a half before closing even if they get busy.I love a good Jucy's burger but I will stick to the original on 5th, never been steared wrong there.

Lago Del Pino
Have visited previously without issues. Visited on 6/4/16 and the meal was lacking to be polite. The medium rare steak was almost well done, and dry; cesar salad limp and warm like it had been sitting out for awhile waiting to be served. Server (Ashley) was polite and offered to return the steak, but that would have made my wife eat alone on a special night. THE MAJOR ISSUE was management's lack of response; a note on the receipt asking for a call, an ignored message on the general manager's phone, and on my third try, when I got him, not even an apology, but an, "I'll get back to you". It has now been almost two-weeks without a word. Too bad, it used to be a nice place.

Posados Cafe
This wonderful restaurant has been around for years and its been well worth it. The food is perfectly prepared authentic Mexican cuisine! Starting with appetizers, entree then dessert this place pleases even the most discriminating palattes. Centrally located in Tyler, its easy to find( on 5th street- near Tyler Junior College) so it doesn't matter where you live: North, South, East or West- Posados is the best. The servers/waiters are attentive, the food is awesome and the prices are very affordable. I've been a loyal regular customer for countless years (my family as well) and I will continue to be so. Mucho Bueno Posados! Yummy!

Pancho Villa Restaurant
Yum Yum! Watch out Posados, Mercados and forget about El Charros on the ridge this small restaurant is whipping out quality authentic Mexican food at low prices. I was thoroughly surprised and very pleasantly pleased when my Huge plate of beautifully prepared food was served so fast. The owner was truly concerned about our visit and thanked us for coming. The waitress was very attentive from beginning to end. This is now one of my favorite places to go and with the prices they charge, I can take a few friends with me the next time- WILL YOU BE ONE? I guarantee you'll enjoy it and be a repeat customer like myself! Lip smacking good!

Marisco's Dj's
I give this place a 3 because the food is ok. There is one dish that I love and that's the only reason info to this place. The customer service is well what can I say it's just young folks doing there job. We went on a special day and the lady who cleans the tables was really rude. She saw that we were low on chips and she just grabbed the tray did not say excuse me or anything. Than she came back and placed them down with such an attitude. We will not be going back there again. Besides the salsa is not even good. It's bland. I think there more worried about selling alcohol than selling food.

TGI Fridays
It was quiet and not a huge crowd out. We had Spinach dip as a starter. Some of the chips were too hard or maybe old however the dip itself was good. My twins ordered sliders and seemed very satisfied with their order. I ordered a half rack of ribs and they went over well. They didn't seem to have as much flavor as ones that I have eaten their in previous visits however. My oldest ordered the battered shrimp and was satisfied with his choice as we. Our waitress was Samantha and she was very tentative to our needs and also complimented the boys on their behavior.

The Jalapeno Tree
Dined here with a group of coworkers and students from our institution. The service was just okay but the environment was pretty nice. They serve you two types of salsas; one of which is traditional and the other a white cream sauce. Both were okay but I prefer the traditional sauce. I ordered the fajitas which was large enough to feed to persons. The steak was very tender and juicy while the shrimp was flavorful and accompanied by a side of melted butter. I've recommended this place several times and will dine here again.

Papacita's Mexican Restaurant
so, I was reading reviews on this restaurant on another site, and they got a couple of "bad" reviews. And wouldn't you know those bad reviews made me WANT to try this place. The bad reviews were about how spicy their hot sauce was, and how much chili powder they used. Not only was this place good, but I went back the second day for round two. Oh and the hot sauce.. not THAT spicy. At least this place has good hot salsa. The papacita's in longview doesn't have ANY spicy dips. (I won't eat at that one.)

Just a moment...
