Absolutely thrilled to discover this new auto repair business in Tyler. Had a problem with the chassis AC in my RV. With a long trip scheduled for the next day I was very disappointed to find that RV shops in the area either did not work on chassis problems or they were a week or more out on scheduling. We contacted Nathan at Honest 1 Auto and he had us on the road 4 hours later. While there we met the owner, Larry, and found him a delight to talk to. I asked one of their mechanics to take a look at my truck, which has a busted radiator hose. He told me he had no idea what all it would take to fix it, and that he was going to get someone else who would know. 30 minutes goes by, an hour goes by. Then the lady manager comes over and asks me why I'm just sitting there, and then essentially insults me and tells me to leave because they don't have time to bid the work? Is that how you treat people who try to give you work/money? And why exactly would you not have told me that to begin with? Instead of telling me you would help, and to just wait a few minutes. These people are about as unprofessional as it gets, don't waste your time or money.

Joe Miller does not up-sell the price on the parts he installs in the vehicles he repairs. You pay what he pays. He doesn't make money from selling the parts, unlike some of your national chains (no names mentioned here).

I have been to a lot of vehicle repair shops in my life, but I've never found folks as friendly, courteous, efficient, and hone st as Gary and Dean. These guys aren't looking to make a quick buck off of people. They take the time to get down to the root of the problem and offer the best solution. I wish there were more like them.

I had a bent radiator support that needed to be straightened, a front bumper that needed to be painted, a front lip I wanted to add on and there was an issue with the hood not closing properly. It took 5 days just like they said and everything was lined up and painted perfectly. I will definitely use them again.

There customer service stinks, I make it to the shop around 10:30am they fail to tell you what's going on there employees eat lunch in front of us the owner goes and get food for the employees and feed them but I am sitting waiting and the owner goes and get the part after the food which should have been gotten before everything else what happens to CUSTOMER SERVICE....In my book their rating stinks but I had to check one which I did not want to do.I will not be coming back unless it's my last option.

Overpriced, and shoddy workmanship. Had to take my vehicle twice for the mechanic to find the 'real' problem, and even then it wasn't fixed. After spending about $800, I found that it was just a thermostat - total cost for that and a gasket was $7. Save your money and go somewhere reputable.

I went in because my steering wheel was loose. I was told by the tech that all they could do was replace it. I agreed, and was quoted a price of $373. $200 part plus $173 labor. Which I paid.After getting in my truck, I noticed that the key wouldn't come out of the switch or completely turn unless I held the gear shift far left of park with my left hand while I turned the key with the right hand. (problem #1) The reverse light only came on when i was in 'park' - not 'reverse' (problem #2). And while driving on a dark road, I turned on my high-beams only to realize that I could not turn them off once I got in to town. So, no more driving at night for a while. (problem #3).I went in and told them of my issues, and was told by the staff that the company's owner said that all they could do was install another for $373 more dollars. Doesn't seem right to me....
