L & L Asphalt Corp
The best paving contractor in East Texas! I have experience with many asphalt contractors and they range from total rip-off to great, and L&L is great! David Lockridge is the president and he is a wonderful man to work with.

Dale's APPLIANCE REPAIR
Called Dale he proceeded to tell me it was inconvenient for him to come out to my house. What great customer service that is. I would not recommend him to tie my shoe laces.

Dale's APPLIANCE REPAIR
The website for Dale's Appliance Repair states that he services Tyler TX and the surrounding areas. I live 15 miles outside Tyler, in Winona. When I contacted him to schedule a dryer vent cleaning (it vents through the roof) he told me he lives outside of Whitehouse and doesn't go past the Loop in Tyler. So, if you're not in Tyler or Whitehouse, you might want to call someone else. He was polite, though.

Dale's APPLIANCE REPAIR
Even though Dale doesn't service my area (Mt.Enterprise) he was very helpful to me over the phone, I gave him the error code and he told me what was probably wrong with my refrigerator. I appreciate the help and I wish you would expand your service area. :-) Thanks again, TCraddock

U-Fix-It Appliance Parts
Eliminate the middle man. They use RepairClinic.com and Sears website to "lookup parts". They even show you the same videos you can look up at home on YouTube.com. Get your model number, go to RepairClinic.com or another site, type it in and it will list the parts and even provide the troubleshooting that U-Fix-It does, minus the 30% markup. U-Fix-It offers next day shipping, but its in the afternoon before it arrives. I saved $80.00 AFTER paying an extra 7 for overnight simply buying it online. Bottom line: A middle man service that does not need to exist in the internet age.

Mr. Appliance
Refrigerator is not fixed, we are out all the money, and the bill keeps going up. Provider unwilling to stand behind service.Very courteous phone personnel, very poor overall service. We are nearly $500 and 4 weeks in to a refrigerator repair and were initially told that it would require another $50 part, which has now increased to an additional $180 part. Perhaps Mr Appliance is competent on very standard, low end appliances, but I would not trust them an LG, Bosch or the like.

Dale's APPLIANCE REPAIR
I couldn't really be happier with Dale. He's friendly, he works efficiently, and he's affordable. He could charge more and I'd still use him. He knows it too, but he likes how his life is working out and he's not into price gouging to get rich.He fixed my washing machine in 10 minutes, I chatted him up for about 15 more minutes, then I let him go. If you aren't satisfied with Dale's service call then you're probably just in a bad mood.5 stars.-Seth, Whitehouse, TX
Tips & Advices
If the washing machine is overloaded or all the clothes are packed to one side, the imbalance can cause the washing machine to jerk and shake. These vibrations can be violent enough to slam the machine against other objects, possibly causing damage to its exterior.
Refrigerator coils should be cleaned at least twice a year. Households with pets should clean their refrigerator coils more frequently.
To reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration recommends homeowners set their refrigerators at or below 40 degrees Fahrenheit and their freezers at 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
In terms of operations and upkeep, gas dryers are less expensive than electric. The actual savings depends on the cost of gas vs. electricity in the area. Still, gas dryers heat up faster than electric ones do, making them slightly more energy efficient. However, gas dryers are priced higher than electric ones, so homeowners should prepare to pay more at the outset.
Proper maintenance helps most home appliances last longer. Homeowner's should check their user's manuals for insight on how often to inspect, clean or upgrade their appliances.
