Wedding Shop
THE WEDDING SHOP RENTAL AND BRIDAL STORE: HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!I usually don't review businesses, but after visiting this place today and having the experience that I had.. I have to let people know. I called this place 4 days ago to make an appointment to try on and possibly purchase a wedding gown. The woman that answered the phone seemed nice and asked me questions pertaining to the type of gown I wanted, budget and reasons for traveling to twin falls from Boise. I answered that both my grandmother and future mother in law live in the twin falls area and I wanted them to go with me and help me pick something out. The woman set my appointment up and reassured me that people came down from Boise all the time looking for dresses and that they had 1200 dresses in the store. So today I went for my appointment at 1, I took my grandma with and also my future mother in law drove 45 miles over to meet us. We get there and the place is closed.. so I called and a woman picks up.. the owner of the business.. she has no recollection of my appointment and immedietly sounds frazzled.. I explained that I had traveled all the way from Boise and she answers me with "they don't have wedding dresses in Boise?!" I'm thinking ok this lady is rude.. but re-explained my reasons again.. she proceeds to ask me if I am wanting to try on or just look.. well I have an appointment to try on dresses... so.. probably try on dresses right?! I start to get annoyed but since we had all traveled so far went on in.. I am met by a horribly haggard and completely unprofessional woman.. I start to try to tell her what I am wanting in a dress..she has stuff pulled that I would never try on much less wear..I nicely tell her that I am really not interested in those style and she puffs and says "you know, I'm not even going to deal with this, you need to go back to Boise and by a dress." I ask her why she is so rude and she just answers that she has no intention of helping me.. she could care less that we all drove so far to check out her dresses.. this blows my minds.. how can someone working in an industry like this be so horribly rude for no apparent reason? so I wanted the public to be aware of this place.. I am honestly glad that we didn't try stuff on there because most of them were used and dingy (which I wasn't told upon making the appointment) and the place stunk.. literally... Please do not give this woman your business.. why she feels like she could treat a paying customer so badly and with such disrespect is completely baffling to me.. she really hurt my feelings and and my dress shopping experience.. i left there in tears.. but on a brighter side, I went up the road.. to Christa's dresses, there I was treated like gold, my family and I got to have to bridal experience and I found a beautiful dress that I will be purchasing!
