Tulsa's Best Auto
Tulsa's Best Auto is truly the best!!! I had some issues when the economy went sour and let's just say my credit was less than perfect. I went to many dealerships in Tulsa including a bunch of buy here pay here lots and they either turned me away or I was treated horribly. I thought I was not going to be able to purchase a car. I decided to give it one last try and went to Tulsa's Best Auto. I wish I would have just gone there from the beginning. The staff was awesome. They went way beyond what they should have to make me feel like a normal person and help me get into my new car. Their inventory was great. They had a bunch of cars to choose from and their cars were nice. Not only did they get me done but they also got me a cheap payment and they report to the credit bureaus so I am rebuilding my credit at the same time. I have sent them all of my friends and family members that needed cars and they all had the same experience I did. I recommend them hands down to anyone that needs a car. Go see them first and save yourself a lot of time!!!

Encinas Automotive
Great place. Mike and the crew at Encinas have been my go-to auto repair shop for at least 5 years now. I think I found them by accident, when one of my tires went flat thanks to a nail I picked up in my construction-heavy neighborhood. They repaired the puncture with some fix-a-flat type product, checked my air pressures all around, and then sent me on my way in no time. And I remember being shocked at how little it cost me. I seem to recall there being close to no charge at all, so definitely in the 5 dollar range, if not free. At any rate, Mike's generosity sold me on the place, and I've been coming back ever since. And whenever I've gotten second opinions from other mechanics, I've always found that Encinas reports the fewest number of repairs needed. Long story short, if you want someone whom you can trust working on your vehicle, take it to Encinas.

Success Motors
After my motorbike was stolen, I had no way to and from work besides walking which I did until the heat just became too unbearable, not to mention walking alone at night was unsafe. With very little money saved up, I visited several dealerships only to find lemon after lemon and very unfriendly service. When I arrived at Success Motors, Amer was friendly and offered my friend and I water and a cold room to relax in while we talked about the available vehicles in my price range. He put me into a very nice, dependable vehicle which I am so grateful to have. Amer worked with my budget and was very patient, as this was my first time buying a car from a dealership and I did not know what to expect. 5 stars to Amer and Success Motors for helping me out tremendously! :)

King Daddy Auto Fleet Repair
I cannot brag on King Daddy Auto Fleet Repair enough. I came into town a few days ago for a contract job & my water pump went out on my 2013 Dodge Ram. Being in a new city & broke down is not a good feeling. I put in auto mechanic in my GPS & called King Daddy. I explained my situation to Ms. Chris & she was incredibly friendly & helpful. I got my truck to the shop & met her husband Lee. He assured me he would take good care of me & that's exactly what they did. It took less than 24 hrs to have me back on the road & there was no price gouging at all. It really helped restore my faith in humanity knowing great people like this are still out here. Thank you guys so much. I'll never forget you. Nate O'Dell

Car Pros Of Oklahoma
I came from Oklahoma City to CarPros and it was totally worth it! I was tired of playing the big dealership games: the bait and switch, vehicles advertised online that for some reason always appeared to never be present, the "let me speak to the manager", etc. I had a great experience with CarPros, and got a great vehicle at a great price. Oh yeah, CarPros also does NO DOC FEES, which saves you $500 you would have spent elsewhere. Jerry was very easy to work with and made a deal I felt very confident in. I am so glad I came across CarPros online and came in to purchase a vehicle. I would highly recommend CarPros to anyone who wants a straight-forward and comfortable car buying experience!

DSS Auto Sales
I recently was looking to purchase a used car. I'm a middle aged woman and I don't know much at all about auto mechanics. I also didn't have a lot to put down for a down payment. I called DSS Auto. They were friendly and informative. I decided on getting a 2003 Dodge Neon. I needed financing but my credit wasn't very good and had been turned down before. Not only did they get me the loan approval but also other bumper to bumper repairs. My monthly payments with the extended warranty is only $274 a month. I've had my car now for a little over 2 months and I LOVE IT! I'm so glad I chose this company. They helped me when no one else did. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dealership!! :)

Interparts of Tulsa
I had a light come on instrument panel, took it to three auto part store and dealership to have checked. All told me no code was being tripped, basically getting runaround. Stopped by Interparts of Tulsa o buy some fuel cleaner and ask if they might be able to figure out what was going on. Dropped car off next day at 8:00 a.m., got call back an hour later with problem found, have part ordered,m picked up, installed, and had my vehicle back at 5:00p.m. fixed. Very professional, labor/parts VERY reasonable. Would recommend to anyone looking to save a few bucks and get the job done in timely manner. TEN Stars!!

Interparts of Tulsa
Hi I took my mercedes 300e for what I thought was pretty serious and costly engine damage. I even had the dealer quoting me over $5000.00 worth of damage. The guys at Interparts convinced me that my problem did not sound like internal damage, but something else external. They were right The water pump was siezing causing a terrible racket. The repair was done that day and I have been on the road problem free for several months now. They could have sold me a motor and I would have agreed with them, but they did the right thing a now have a loyal customer Thanks again Mike Tadsworth
Tips & Advices
In some cases, it's worth repairing an old alternator. If some parts go bad, they can be inexpensive to repair. For example, alternator belts can be quite cheap, and parts and labor for handling this repair will run you between $100 and $125 for most vehicles, which is significantly less than the cost of a new alternator. If the total cost of the repair exceeds 50 percent of the cost of replacing the alternator, it makes sense to invest in a new alternator.
If your car's alternator has gone bad, you may be able to squeeze in a short journey, but the car's battery will drain very quickly without the alternator's support. Stop-and-go traffic will place even more pressure on the battery, and so will using auxiliary items such as the radio, air conditioning, heater, windshield wipers, and headlights.
A one-wire alternator is a type of alternator that can be easily put into place with the installation of a single wire. The key benefit that these alternators bring is that they are simple to install.  However, many one-wire alternators provide low output when the car's engine is idle, and this can burden the car's electrical system if you're idling at a red light with the headlights and stereo on. Some one-wire alternators also require you to rev the car's engine to a certain rpm to activate the alternator and begin the charging process.
The most common cause of alternator failure is a weak battery. Your car's alternator works very hard to keep your car's battery fully charged, and, if the battery is weak, it can put a great deal of stress on the alternator. The alternator will increase its output to try and keep the battery charged, and this will eventually overtax the alternator and cause it to fail prematurely.
Your alternator's regulator is an automotive part that monitors and oversees the process by which your car's battery is charged. The regulator also supports the alternator by reducing the stress that is placed on the alternator's drive belts, tensioning pulley, and bearings. The regulator may be located inside or outside of the alternator's housing.
