Day & Night Rug Spa
Very disappointing. First of all when I inquired I received a price quote for a removal and replacement of the same carpet in only one bedroom, via phone. So, after the price was mentioned and agreed upon, an appointment was set. The person who came out claimed he had 30 years experience. When he removed the carpet, he cut the carpet from the bedroom into the hall, so that he could seam it back together without being noticed, supposedly. I relied on his expertise for that decision. That was the primary reason for hiring this company. When I called to set up the return visit I asked for new carpet padding. I was assured that the return individual would have some on his truck. Well he didn’t have the padding and when asked about it he said he wasn’t told about new padding. Apparently, that is not all he wasn’t told, the price for the service was apparently not discussed as well. The carpet was reinstalled but he failed to put the seam from the hall into the bedroom back together to where it wouldn’t be seen, it was horrible, the seam was not straight. When I mentioned the visible seam to him he became very defensive and stated that he had discussed this with me prior to making the cut. I did not recall that part of the conversation, if so I may have reconsider this hire. However, his comment was “that is the best that I can do,” which I thought was unprofessional. I had also notice that two places in our carpet was apparently cut and the carpet wasn’t even tacked down properly. As for the price of the job, it had increased by $100. More than what was previously quoted. When challenged on the increase in price and confronted with the discrepancies of his work he claimed that I had received a phone estimate and that it was different from the price of what work was conducted. The quality of work performed was very poor and now I have damage carpet because of this company. I would not recommend.

Day & Night Rug Spa
I have had at least 12, maybe as many as 15 rugs cleaned by the professionals at day and night rug spa. They always treat me with wonderful respect, courtesy and explain everything to me about the rugs I bring in and what they can do for me. I have had the mend rugs for me and cut rugs down for me and Bynum as well. They do wonderful work and I highly recommend them to everyone I know!

Day & Night Rug Spa
These guys didn't known what they were doing when trying to clean my Persian rugs. There were returned totally ruion after they had taken them for cleaning. The ivory came back stained and silk damaged. I don't recommend Day and Night carpets by no means. It cost me $800 to repair my beautiful carpets. I hand carried my expensive carpets from Pakistan, where I went to some of the villages to purchase them. Be careful. RS

The phone number published here is not a working number. Not a great advertisement to not be able to call them. Not a happy camper because I have to drive there. And, by the way, the address is incorrect as well.

Pro Steam Carpet & Upholstery
Highly recommended! Kevin did a fantastic job of getting the built up pet stains and odor out of the carpet in the spare room once my roommate moved out. He also did the carpet in my daughters nursery and now there are no traffic areas visible. Very affordable and very pleased with the work done! I will be using his service again for any carpet cleaning needs.

Carpet One Floor & Home
Carpet One opened a charge account in my name and charged over $4000 to my account without any written authorization. I never agreed to buy anything from them. They charged my account a week before they even came to my residence to measure and give me a firm quote. And to add insult to injury, they charged my account more than the final quote amount. I am now perusing a FRAUD CLAIM with the lender against them. In my opinion they employ sleazy sales and business practices. I will never give them the opportunity to earn my business again. If I could rate them zero stars I would!Since writing this post the owner has contacted me and assured me that the money gas been refunded to the account. I have yet to get confirmation from the lender.
Tips & Advices
Homeowners can purchase carpet cleaners ranging from compact units to full-size industrial-strength machines. Some models specialize in removing allergens from pet hair, while others may work better on tough stains. Some carpet cleaners can be bulky and require ample storage space. Other features you may want to consider for in a cleaning unit include: attachments that work on upholstery, stairs, bare floors, or small spaces; brushes; and a removable hose.
Renting is usually much cheaper than owning a machine or hiring a service. But not all rental units perform equally, some might require extra drying time or the use of special solvents that will cost more. - Renting a unit means you must also move furniture yourself and pay close attention to ensure you're operating the unit correctly. Making a mistake could mean damaging your carpet or the unit itself. Improperly drying carpet could allow harmful bacteria and mold to grow.
Yes. This may involve specifying exactly what services you would like performed, as well as the size of your home's carpeted area. Make sure you understand exactly what is included in a quoted price. Some businesses may charge extra to move furniture, clean stairs, or use special treatment methods. Ask questions if any detail about the quote is unclear.
Decide which method you want to use by taking into consideration not only cost, but how long the process will take from start to finish, including drying time. Don't always go with the service offering the lowest price, or hire a service who advertises door-to-door or over the phone, unless you have done thorough research on them. Ask if the company conducts background checks on employees, as well as if they are insured in your state. Without liability insurance, a mistake that results in damage to your home or furniture may be your responsibility to pay for.
Using powerful solvents to break down dirt and stains, dry cleaning puts less physical stress on the carpet, and thus might be better in the long run. However, dry cleaning is usually more expensive than hot-water cleaning services. In addition, the chemicals used to dry clean carpets might irritate pets, people with sensitive skin, or anyone sensitive to strong odors.
