My name is David Haak, I have been designing and building custom furniture and cabinetry for over 25 years now. Having your furniture custom made is a great way to personalize your home environment, and maximize the usability of your furnishings by tailoring the design and function to your exact needs. As both a furniture designer and furniture builder, I can help you work through all of the elements that go into creating your new furniture, whether it be a single piece, a single room, or an entire house. I am here to help you navigate the decisions as far as the style, the function and the finish of your new home furnishings. You will also find the quality of custom made products far exceeds that of furnishings made in large factories, or furniture that is imported from overseas. Custom made furniture is made to the dimensions and specifications that fit your specific needs, so you can avoid the limited offerings and frustrations of mass produced furniture companies. I have many clients across the country that come back for additional furniture pieces because they recognize the value in purchasing quality furniture that will last for generations to come. If you are one to appreciate fine woodworking, and enjoy having handmade custom furniture and cabinetry in your home that will function well and endure the test of time then you will also appreciate my quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. On this site you will have the opportunity to view work that I have done over the years, as well as new designs that have recently been completed. My current leadtime for new work is 12 to 14 weeks, with furniture going to clients in Scottsdale, Arizona; Cordillera, Colorado; Brianhead, Utah; Evergreen, Colorado; Vail, Arizona; Lake Jackson, Texas; Cordova, Tennessee and Alberta, Canada. I can ship across the country from New York to California and yes even to Hawaii. My clients will tell you that the quality of my hand-made furniture is well worth the longer lead times. While you are here, be sure to visit the Furniture Store. This will give you an idea of our pricing for custom furniture. Feel free to contact me with questions or comments. I welcome the opportunity to discuss your furniture and cabinetry needs personally - David Haak

Dale Morris, is a Native of Tucson Arizona, who is a skilled Woodworking Artist. He works, in the the media's of; Southwestern Hardwoods (mostly Mesquite), Glass, Metals and Semi Precious Gemstones, namely "Turquoise", inlaid in Home Furnishings, Art Deco pieces and "Heartsafes". Dale Morris, a native of Tucson, Arizona, is a true renaissance man. Growing up in a blue collar family in the 60s. Dale was running construction crews in the hot desert sun by the age of 16. He has spent his entire life working with his hands, and when the day shift was over he put those skills to an even more creative use; Sculpture. His love of the beauty of the Sonoran desert and it's native treasures led him to pursue the art of wood-working. He has a great passion for the natural colors and textures that exist within the wood. "I try to see what is already in the wood and then expose the innate beauty," says Morris. Dale has now been working with Southwest Hardwoods for over 30 years, and over that time has developed his own personalized techniques on the lathe along with his own individual style of inlay. His greatest passion comes in the form of his Heartsafes, beautifully hand-crafted Memorial Urns utilizing Hardwoods of the Southwest inlaid with Sleeping Beauty Turquoise and Semi-Precious Gemstones. These Heartsafes are created with love and care to be the final resting place of individuals who want the outer beauty of their Memorial Urn to match the inner beauty of the remains. In addition to his Heartsafes and wood-working, Dale has spent much of his life designing custom-made furniture, fused-glass decor and jewlery. "Heartsafes" Art Honors Life A Resting Place for You and Your Loved Ones Throughout the centuries, Memorial Urns (also known as Cinerary Urns and Burial Urns) have been used to honor loved ones and pets when they pass. Many cultures across the globe have featured Urns as a way to keep your family close to your heart and to give them a place of reverence in your home. Dale Morris' "Heartsafes" are much more than just basic Memorial Urns, they give peace of mind for you and your loved ones, as well as providing a true sense of Southwestern beauty. Mr. Morris begins by carefully hand sculpting Southwestern Hardwoods, focusing on bringing out the inner beauty of the wood's natural textures and colors. He then focuses on the natural cracks and voids in the wood, using a specialized inlay technique with Turquoise and Semi-Precious Gemstones. In addition, Dale's "Heartsafes" are expansive enough to be used as companion urns, as vessels large enough to hold the cremains of several individuals together, or the cremains of a person and their favorite pets. When someone keeps a "Heartsafe" in their home, they have their loved ones with them forever.
