Cool Running Plumbing
Ok, where's the 10 stars?? We had a pipe break on a Saturday and in desperation I tried just about everyone I could find in the plumbing listings. Cool Running was the first company to call me back, within a couple minutes; some who finally did couldn't fit me in for days, some gave me the impersonal runaround on the phone, some never called back period. Of all who responded, their rates were the most reasonable. The gentleman who arrived was amazing - so pleasant, courteous, efficient, knew just what to do and had us up and running and for a couple hundred dollars we were cured of a problem we were afraid might cost many times that. He guaranteed his work for two years! No plumber has ever done that; they always find some way to sidestep responsibility for what happens after they leave. I can't say enough about them - no bells and whistles, fancy trucks and signage and full page eye catching ads; just good, honest, prompt, trustworthy, awesome service. I will recommend them to all my friends.

Best Price Plumbing LLC.
I called Best Price Plumbing and spoke to "Gilbert" first thing in the morning. He was able to meet me at my rental in a few hours, located the underground "clay" pipe in just a few minutes because he was efficient enough to contact the city planning office to get the information before I arrived at the property. He actually found the clean out, cleared the line into the house and out to the street and started raising the clean out connection all in under 90 minutes. This guy is awesome!!! Plus he did with out robbing me blind. His price was more the have that of several phone quotes I had already gotten. I can not say enough about how happy I was to have found him on YP.com. Thanks Gilbert, you really are the "Best Price for Plumping" not to mention fantastic service.

Curtis Plumbing
Great Company! My septic spit up junk all over my bathtub because I hadn't pumped it in years. Not only did they come out on the weekend to immediately give it a short-term fix, but the office manager answered all of my septic questions. I'm a city girl, so I had no idea that you need to pump it every six years, or so. Then they came back during the week, so I wouldn't have to pay the weekend rate, with two men, to pump the whole thing out, which was filled to the top. They were very nice and professional, and knew what they were doing. They didn't waste any time getting to work in our 100 degrees plus temperatures, and they even gave us a Senior Citizen discount. I was also happy that they cleaned up all their work, and left my backyard looking just like it did before they did the dig up.

Best Price Plumbing LLC.
This morning we thought that we might have a huge septic bill until I called Gilbert Wheatly at Best Price Plumbing. We set up an appointment for Sunday and a few hours later Gilbert called me back to say that he could make it today to diagnose the problem. Lucky for us, it was just the filter that was clogged up. Gilbert took care of it right away and it didn't break the bank. I told him that I could not afford to pay an arm and a leg and I didn't. Very pleased with the work and I will call him again when we need the septic pumped out.

Aaa Royal Flush Drain Svc
Unfortunately, we did not have success with this plumber. We work with a lot of trades people managing a large number of properties and we felt we were overcharged. The bill was $225 to snake a drain and the drain was not cleared after he left. We attempted to resolve the issue over the phone to at least adjust the invoice to a more reasonable amount, but we were not able to come to a mutually agreeable solution so we simply paid the bill. To be fair, we did not get a quote prior to starting the work because he came as a referral.

Agile Plumbing
Overall, Michael and Agile Plumbing met the criteria to earn 5 stars, including:- Flexibility around my schedule.- Arrived on time.- Explained what needed to be done before doing it.- Completed the work with minimum delay.- Very friendly guy.- Charged a reasonable price.- Cleaned up completely after the job.Based on our first experience with Agile Plumbing, I would recommend them for plumbing problems and, in fact, suggested their services to a friend in Oro Valley just an hour after he left for another appointment.

Progressive Plumbing
Have you ever had a leaky faucet? Did you ever want to strangle its little silver neck because it won’t stop dripping? Welcome to my world. Thank goodness for Progressive Plumbing. After numerous attempts to fix it myself, I finally called the plumber at my wife’s desperate pleading. Well, they accomplished what I could not at probably the fraction of the time and cost I had already spent trying to deal with it myself. If you want to avoid a headache, give these guys a call and have them do it right the first time.

Aarow Plumbing
Rocky and Sean from Aarow Plumbing came to my house to install a water heater. They were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Rocky was not only experienced and thorough, but was also very efficient. Both Rocky and Sean were very personable as well. Although it is almost never a good feeling in spending a large sum of money on repairs and such, both Rocky and Sean minimized that anxiety. I will not hesitate to recommend Aarow Plumbing and Rocky and Sean whenever the situation arises!Ron Esposito

Aarow Plumbing
As a single mom, I am hesitant to hire contractors...always afraid of being overcharged, cheated or lied to due to my lack of knowledge or not having a man in the home!! I was pleasantly surprised with Rocky at Arrow. He was professional and explained everything to me, showed me what he was doing and even showed me a couple of things I could do on my own in a jam. His rate was reasonable, warrantied his work and left in a timely manner. I highly recommend Arrow and will use them again in the future.

Progressive Plumbing
I was concerned about being able to have my water heater fixed over the weekend, of course when it decides to break down on me! But luckily I found Progressive Plumbing and they came out right on the spot and offered various different options of repair that were well within my budget. The service was great; he was quick, clean, efficient, and friendly! Appreciate the way you guys take care of your customers.
Tips & Advices
The following tools and common household objects can be used to clean drains at home:
  • A plunger
  • A drain snake
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Grease-fighting dish soap
Homeowners can mix boiling water with any of the last three products to break up grease and grime.
The main ingredients in clog removal liquid products are sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite. According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, both break down into relatively harmless components when it comes into contact with water or soil. However, both substances cause mild irritation to skin and internal tissues.
Also known as a drain auger, a drain snake is a coiled device around ¼-inch thick. To use a drain snake, put the end into the entrance of the drain. Turn the handle to force the snake deeper, using extra pressure to force it through the bend in the pipe. Keep turning until the snake hits the clog, then either pull the snake and remove the obstruction or force it through. Once the snake is out of the drain, run the water on full blast for a few minutes to ensure the obstruction is completely removed.
Plungers don't damage residential pipes, but the force created by the act of plunging weakens the seal between the toilet and the floor.
Many plumbers, both local businesses and nationwide chains, offer emergency or same-day services.
