McGary's Discount Groceries
What Is a Salvage Grocery Store?Salvage grocery stores, sometimes referred to as outlet or discount grocery stores, are stores that specialize in selling items that traditional grocery stores can't or won't sell. Most buy their merchandise from grocery reclamation centers, and it includes such things as:Food that is near or past its expirationItems in dented or torn packagingItems in seasonal or otherwise-dated packagingStore closeoutsManufacturer overstockSalvage from truck wrecksUnlike a traditional grocery store, which stocks the same items each week, salvage grocery stores stock different items each week, depending on what they get in. What Else Do I Need to Know About Salvage Grocery Stores?Salvage grocery stores sell more than food. You may also find deals on cleaners, health and beauty products, pet food, party supplies, paper products, office supplies and moreYou probably won't be able to do all of your grocery shopping at the salvage store. Start your shopping there; then, finish up at the grocery storeSince inventory changes rapidly, you can't count on them to have the same things from week to week. Stock up when you see something you want, and check back regularly to see what else they've gotten inSince you're likely to be buying older items, only stock up on as much as you can use in a reasonable timeSalvage grocery stores don't usually accept returns. You may get a bad item on occasion, but the overall savings will more than make up for it. but at McGary's we do allow exchanges on food items if you every get something not good bring it back with a receipt within 14 days and we will trade out that item.

Wrench Dawg Automotive
I've never written a review online before, but I was just trying to look up Wrench Dawg's contacts to give to a friend in Tucson, and I saw that other bad review so I had to respond. Wrench Dawg is the BEST! I generally have a great distrust of auto mechanics, because I'm a young woman and often feel like I will be ripped off because I don't know enough about cars to know any better. But John ("Wrench Dawg") has done excellent and extremely thorough work on my car, and has always been honest and forthcoming about explaining things to me so I understand what the problem with my car is and how what he is doing would fix it. His rates have also always been lower than or at least comparable to others I've been quoted, and he'll come to you to do the work, so it's more convenient than having to drop it off at a shop. John has worked on my car several times over the course of a few years (I have a very old, but well-loved, car) and done a stellar job. He will make sure the job gets done right, even if it takes him a lot longer to do it, which I really appreciate. Wrench Dawg has my highest recommendation (which is saying a lot coming from a skeptic like myself!). I no longer live in Tucson, and whenever something comes up with my car I always wish I did just so that I could bring it to someone who is knowledgeable, thorough, honest, and fair, like Wrench Dawg.

Renewed Beauty Medical Spa and Salon
Svetlana Burtman at Renewed Beauty Medical Spa & Salon is excellent at what she does and has many years of experience to prove it. She stays current on new procedures and techniques, is friendly, easy to talk to, and answered all of my questions regarding my Botox and The Vampire Facelift procedures. I was referred to her by a close friend. Svetlana Burtman has a friendly and funny personality, so she made me feel at ease during the procedures. Svetlana is very prompt on appointments and I am seen within 5 minutes of arriving at her office. Svetlana Burtman’s office staff is very friendly and is knowledgeable about the procedures and products that Svetlana Burtman offers in her practice. She is very caring and takes her time during the procedure, which I think is important in achieving great results. I have received so many compliments from my friends and colleagues, and my confidence has boosted since having the Botox and The Vampire Facelift . If you are looking to have these procedures Svetlana Burtman at Renewed Beauty Medical Spa & Salon should be your go to Medical Spa! Svetlana is excellent and I couldn't have asked for a better Medical Spa to go to!

Tucson Foreign Car Specialist
As a 62 year old recently homeless woman who managed to hang onto my 1990 Toyota, I walked into Tucson Foreign Car Specialists today thinking I was losing all I had left. I didn't know if it was worth fixing the exhaust leak, or would it cost more than I could ever afford. I knew what this could cost, & was shocked to find this repair would only be about a 6th of what I expected, totally manageable! Erik took the time to talk with me about the car, & look it over to reassure me it's not in nearly as bad of shape as I thought. He let me know the oil leak I knew I had will need repair but I was OK to postpone it as long as I check & add oil when needed. I walked out of this place feeling good about how long I should be able to keep this car & knowing I'd found the most honest, caring people I could possibly have found to look after my "old friend". I fully intend to recommend Tucson Foreign Car Specialists to everyone. DO NOT HESITATE to bring your vehicle here - you will not be sorry!!!

S P S Autosport
Being a military person I move around a lot and yes we like fast things. Well I just had replaced my clutch and with the heat out here I guess that style of clutch was no good. So searching up and down for a good reputable shop I came a crossed SPS AUTOSPORT. so I went in to get a feel of the shop and I will say I was impressed with the knowledge and the atmosphere of the place. I had them install a new comp stage 3 segmented Kevlar clutch and I have been very pleased with the support and fallow up to make sure everything is still operating the way it should be. I have been planning on building a EJ25 block for my STI and after further talking with the staff we are putting together a sleeved block and going for some high goals. I will gladly go back to this shop. Thanks Mike and Richard

Brake Masters
I took my vehicle in for an oil change ONLY, but was told I needed two radiator hoses and fan belts. The mechanics didn't talk to me about these things; they only talked to the manager, who then relayed this info to me. But the mechanics should have talked to me and explained why new hoses and belts were needed. This isn't acceptable repair-shop protocol. Mechanics are supposed to speak with the customer and explain what needs to be done and why. The sneakiness I experienced at this shop is a bad sign that rip-offs are being done, repairs done that don't need to be done, etc. What I don't like about this shop is that there are always new mechanics there, as if they rotate through the city. Anyway, they are to be watched carefully from now on.

Circle K
The other person who reviewed probably didn't have things properly explained. If an employee is told a wrong pump and someone else pumps that gas before the employee can switch the pumps It's not the store's fault and yes, there's nothing they can generally do about as they just cannot give free gas away. The person you would've wanted to talk would be who ever pumped the gas you paid for. Lesson here is whenever an employee asks twice which pump it is, or even asks what car it is to make sure do not get snappy with them as they are trying to make sure you get your gas and make sure you know which pump you're at or let them know once you get to the front counter, ask for a second, and triple check. Sometimes you have to own up to your own mistakes.

Express Employment Professionals
After being a stay at home Mom for many years, and going through a divorce, I needed work immediately. I applied online at Express and Stacey had me in for an interview immediately. Within a week I was already working a temp job for an out of town company. The Job didn't last long, but within another couple of months Stacey placed me with a new company which hired me after the 90 days. Thank goodness! The pay is amazing - more than the $12-14 you can expect from coming from a temp job. I am so thankful for Express. Wendy, Stacey, and Mayra are amazing and always friendly. They make you feel like part of a family, they really care that you succeed. I would recommend express to anyone who needs a job and wants to work!AH

Perfection Auto Works Inc
I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for Mike and the guys at Perfection Auto Works. I'm a young woman with little interest in cars, so it's pretty easy to screw me over when it comes to maintenance on my vehicle. I pay no more for an oil change here than I would at Brake Masters or Fletchers, where they screw me over and manipulate me into paying for extra costly repairs that don't do jack. I will never take my cars anywhere else. When the guys did over $2500 in work to my '98 Volkswagen, Mike pulled out a box with all the old parts that they took from my car and explained why they needed to be replaced. WOW!!! The man takes care of my car as if I were his own daughter he was looking out for.

Manny Auto Repair
I needed 2 front tires for my Astro van. I called around, and Manny's was the first place to have the size I needed. When I arrived at his shop, I was greeted warmly and professionally. He showed me the different tires available and let me choose. He asked me if I had a mechanic, and I told him that my roommate is my mechanic and does my work for free. He proceeded to show me a couple of other things that would need to be addressed. Zero pressure. Manny has been in the same location for 30 years. Every business should strive to have the knowledge, experience, professionalism and customer service that Manny’s Auto Repair has shown me. I will definitely go there again!
Tips & Advices
Driver can find the cheapest gas prices by using an app to search for the lowest prices in their area.  Some apps such as Gas Guru take note of your location, and provide a list of gas stations nearby, along with the cost of gas currently being sold at each station.
There are things you can do to slightly improve the fuel efficiency of your vehicle. Make sure your car's tires are properly inflated, and treat your engine to regular tune-ups. Check your engine's air filter, since a dirty air filter will compromise fuel economy.
Drivers must shut their engine off before pumping gas because it's illegal to fuel with the engine running, even though this law isn't always aggressively enforced. Pumping gas with the engine running can compromise your safety. When your car's engine is running, it's possible for its catalytic converters to generate heat that could ignite gasoline, and start a fire.
Even though many gas stations have warnings advising you not to use your cell phone while fueling, the chances of cell phones igniting a gasoline vapor fire are extremely remote. However, fires at the gas pump may be caused by static electricity discharge. For safe fueling, it's recommended that you turn off your car's engine and avoid smoking at the pump. Also, you should never re-enter your vehicle while refueling.
Many factors contribute to the lack of uniformity in gas prices. Retailers consider their tax responsibilities when setting gas prices. States place varying taxes on gasoline retailers, and a state with higher taxes will have higher gas prices than a state in which the taxes are lower. Also, if a gas station is located in an especially competitive area, a branded operator may receive wholesale discounts that allow the station to sell gas at a lower price. This is done by brands to keep their gas competitive in tight markets.
