Franke Physical Therapy
Mike only cares for you so long as you abide by his policy of not missing more than two sessions. Unfortunately, my wife had to miss two sessions and they booted her without bothering to ask about the circumstances. I should make it clear that in both instances, she did call immediately to cancel. One session she cancelled because our son was throwing up in the back seat. What are you going to do? On the second session, she cancelled because the remnants of a storm from Mexico where going to hit the city and I was concerned for her safety as she would have to go to the appointment alone and she would be using a walker to get down. Even the city was urging people to stay home. She did call the night before to cancel. When she was going to go to her next appointment, she was told that she was going to be dropped. When we tried to call back and speak with Mike Franke, we left messages twice in a week and a half and he never had the courtesy to call back. He had an assistant do so. We were told that policy is policy. PERIOD!Again, they are great so long as you don't break this policy. If you do, they will drop you and couldn't care the least about whatever reason it could be.

Ultimate Treatment
My sports doc sent me to John and his staff to treat my sports hernia. I could barely walk after playing any kind of team sports and i was doubled over in pain and could not sit at my desk all day in the office.Jonh quickly diagnosed the problem and showed me specifically on his skelton model where the pain was coming from and what I needed to do to fix it. He put me on a series of daily streches and weekly treatments that, within days, made significant changes to my flexibility and ultimately my ability to play sports pain-free.Since he is also a golf coach he linked an injury I had in high school to my abdominal pain and the slice in my drives! He's amazing.

Utz John
I was referred to John by a sports doctor who had diagnosed me with a sports hernia. I could barely walk after playing basketball and I certainly couldn't work out or run. John quickly diagnosed my situation and showed me exactly where the problem was causing me pain and what to do about it. Within just a few weeks after doing the stretches and exercises he recommended I was running and playing basketball again. He even explained to me how my condition was affecting my golf swing, he's the man!

Welch Family Chiropractic Center
I am new to town and grateful to have found Dr Welch. I had taken a hard fall while hiking a few months back, I twisted my back but thought it would just go away - a week later I was still walking funny to keep it from hurting. On the advice of a new friend I call the office and considering my condition got me in the same day. What a relief to walk out standing tall!

Advanced Spine Care Center
I want Dr. Susan Fleming to be practicing again. She was the most reliable and caring doctor I've ever seen. I miss her and wish I could still see her.
Tips & Advices
At the first appointment with a physical therapist, Expect an overall assessment of your condition, which may include exercises to understand your range of motion, balance, and strength. Based on that information, the therapist can then design a regimen.
Physical therapists can work in a variety of environments. While many choose to work in a physical therapy clinic, others will operate out of hospitals and are also able to make house calls to help patients who need in-home assistance and rehabilitation.
Physical therapists can specialize in sports medicine, women's health, geriatric, neurologic, orthopedic, pediatric, and cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, among others.
See a physical therapist following a serious muscle or bone injury, especially if pain doesn't go away within a few days, is recurring and dull, or is frequent and sharp. Book an appointment if medication is not helping or if your doctor recommends it.
The majority of health insurance plans do include physical therapy treatment, but the amount covered and the co-pay for patients varies person-to-person. Medicare and workers’ compensation both cover physical therapy.
