Tropical Kingdom
Good customer service is dead here. Normally we would've recommended this place hands down, but not anymore. Wev'e been long time fans f this store over the years. Passing the big box corporate pet stores in order to patronage our local stores. We recently purchased some bark for our turtle & the sales associate at the counter was soooo rude. He acted as if our purchase was an inconvenience to him. We felt disrespectfed and unappreciated as loyal customers. We decided to go to another store to finish buying the rest of our needs. We drive past a minimum of 7 other pet stores just to come in here for our needs and to be treated badly, is not alright. Looks like we'll be shopping much closer to our home from now on since Tropical Kingdom does not appear to care or need our business.

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS PET STORE! I was told by many people to avoid this shop but they had a specific pet that wasn't being sold anywhere else in town. I had no problem with the employees there. They were kind and helpful but the problem was the manager. He was inconsistent and got angry when I asked if I could bring my animal to the vet to make sure they were healthy. My mom is a veterinarian and I know many horror stories that can happen when buying a new pet, so I just wanted to be safe. My boyfriend and I were told many times that we could return the pet if we weren't happy. We ended up wanting to return it but when we walking in (less than 24 hours after we bought it) we were treated terribly and told there were no returns. To be fair it did say that on the receipt but as a customer I believe we should be informed by the MANAGER correctly when we purchased our item. I have lost over $300 from this shop. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!

Cichlid Lovers Tropical Fish
Tried him twice. Once the fish I bought bred with deformities. This most recent time we purchased "neon tail" Boops. And they came in with ZERO neon in the tail. Buyer beware of photos that DONT accurately represent the fish he will send you.

I plugged the address into my GPS and it took me to a residential address. No sign of fish.

These guys dropped hay on my tailgate and bent it. Took 4 months to get them to step up and get my truck repaired.

Advertise fish with false pictures. Fish come not as advertised or of poor strain. Sometimes sick. I don't recommend. I've tried and ordered from them several times over the years to see if things get better. Usually disappointed.

Tropical Kingdom
These guys know their stuff! Friendly and they have a ton of animals. They have great prices but the main thing is they know how to take care of pets. They helped me with my snake and saved me a huge vet bill. I found these guys from a friend of mine and they helped him out with his dog. They know about nutrition and preventive maintenance.

The Pet Club
I was very disappointed in the service and delivery of a chicken coop I bought. They cancelled two Saturdays in a row, leaving my chickens stuck in a bathroom enclosure. They were not willing to consider the animals or the inconvience to the customer (me). I talked with multiple people working there so it was not an issue of an individual not being considerate. I have had great lucky with Ok Feed and Supply on Ft Lowell and would advise folks take their business there. They are both knowledgable and respectful to their client base.

Desert Pet
My friends told me to go here and I would find the ultimate happiness in pet owning. I did, and I did find it. The ever convenience that a convenience store promises a consumer is evidently here, in this place.
Tips & Advices
Pet owners usually sign a waiver stating that any injury or illness a dog suffers while at daycare is the responsibility of the owner. However, most facilities carry liability insurance and pet business insurance in the event of a serious incident. To prevent illness, facilities are strict about requiring proof of vaccination and general health from a veterinarian prior to accepting a dog. However, in an off-leash setting, scuffles or fights might occur. Reputable facilities will often hire vet assistants who can treat minor injuries and under-the-weather dogs.  For anything more serious, a good daycare should make it a priority to get the dog to a vet, and get in immediate contact with the owner.
