Interstate Auto Glass
I was referred to Interstate Glass through my insurance company. I made an appointment through their office in the Phoenix area, I am in Tucson. I was given a 5 hour window from 9 am to 2 pm, I made it clear I had to leave work by 2 pm. Not only did no one come to do anything, I did not receive a call until after 2 pm left on my work phone, no message left. When I called the next day, the "gentleman" on the phone was more than extremely rude, when I asked if I could make another appointment, he said that it must be done through their main office, when I asked for the number he said "He had no idea." Not only was no reason given for not servicing my car as scheduled, I was subjected to rude behavior. I would NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE. What a waste of time.

Auto Glass Now Tucson
Brought my truck to them to replace the back window. The installer had to remove the back seats and the padding on the back wall. In doing this he destroyed a number of wires that operate the key fob and air pressure gauge. He and the manager were quick to cover it up and not mention that the wires were trashed. When you leave you have to sign a paper that everything was done in a good manner. Of course you aren't aware that they fraudulently covered up the damage and you had no way of knowing at the time. The next day when we went to check the air pressure the gauge didn't work but we were leaving for home (Branson Mo.) and figured we would get it fixed there. The Dodge dealer showed me when he removed the seats and padding that the wires were trashed. The cost to fix was $250.00 and Auto Glass Now said I should've brought it back to Tucson or had it fixed locally in Springfield Mo. but I didn't know what was wrong until the dealer got it taken apart. The installer and manager in Tucson knew about the problem but didn't tell me so I was shooting in the dark. I was told by Carlos ( area manager in Mesa ) that he had to inform the president of the company but it's been 2 weeks now and no response. These people are scam artists and do VERY sloppy work and are not dependable. BUYER BE VERY AWARETAD M BERO

Tony's Auto Glass
They do good work but there service is terrible. Both times I went in the tint tech wasn't in but they don't bother to call you. I went in for tinting and they were going to replace my windows. Good work but customer service is bad. You make a appointment for a certain time and they get to it about an hour later. They tell you it's almost ready so I decided to look and no one was even working on it.

Continential Glass Services
I had 2 old bathroom shower enclosures rebuilt, tiled, and plumbed with quality fixtures with a rubbed antique bronze finish to them. Towel bars, cabinet knobs, faucets, etc etc. Only one single glass shop gave me a fair price, and said he could match the finish perfectly. And they did. I am sooo happy!! Thank You!

Pyramid Glass & Window
I am so impressed with Pyramid Glass & Window. Unfortunately I walked up to our local business office this morning only to find that someone had thrown a rock through our front window. After calling multiple window companies and being told I was out of luck, or it would take over a week to get a double pane window in...Eugene and his employee's came to save the day! I called at 11 A.M. and my window was just finished at 1:40 P.M. They cleaned up after themselves and got the job done right! If that isn't great customer service, I don't know what is!Thank you for helping us in our time of need! We really appreciate companies and people like you!

Pacific Glass & Window
Ordered a window and was told it would be in on Thursday or Friday. Called the company on Friday and was told it would be the next week. Was closing on my home and had to have the window or a letter from the company stating the window was ordered and would be installed. The company refused to install the window because I was too far from town and the installation would cost them time and money. Rather than do the right thing because their error, they hung up on me. Find another window company if you want good service.

Tips & Advices
Many companies, both local and nationwide, specialize in automotive glass repair and replacements. Drivers should contact their insurance companies to find glass or auto repair shops in their network.
Windshield damage from anything other than a vehicle collision (including vandalism, storms, fires, and animals) is often covered by optional comprehensive coverage. Drivers should keep in mind that some plans only cover the side and back windows but not the front windshield. Without coverage, drivers must pay the entire cost of repairs or replacements.
Small windshield repairs can be finished in 30 minutes, while windshield replacements take about an hour.
The adhesives used in windshields need at least one hour to cure, so drivers must wait before getting back on the road.  Similarly, drivers should wait at least 24 hours after a windshield repair or replacement before washing their cars. The water and chemicals in the soap can weaken the adhesive. Because of the additional pressure involved, drivers should wait three days after repairs or replacements before going through an automated car wash.
Replacing a windshield costs between $150 and $300 on average.
