BAYADA Adult Nursing
I have used several home nursing agencies for my parents and my disabled son who requires a ventilator. Never has one gone so out of the way to make sure we had the right nurses come to the home. The nurses were the most experienced I have dealt with in 25 years. The management team is extremely helpful and made sure all of our needs were taken care of.

I've been using this company since 2013 and really never had much problems, until the end of 2016 when the policies changed, now They limit my deliveries to twice a week and only say they are able to deliver 14 tanks to me, when before i had weekly deliveries and was able to get 20 tanks each week, as i work and i need at least 3-4 tanks daily just to work. when i tried to get on something different they said i wasn't qualified for the battery portable concentraitor even tho my doctors sent them and order. The service is awful when you call in and the people seem like they don't care about clients. if you get referred here ask your doctors for a different PROVIDER as this one is worthless!

Poor customer relations, can't get equipment needed even if covered with insurance and Dr's orders. Personnel are not trained.Had to buy a walker from another source because of the poor quality Preferred carries. It cost me $170.00 because my insurance wouldn't cover this vendor.

I use oxygen at 4.5 liters. My doctor sent an order for a portable oxy concentrator, and my insurance approved it, but preferred will not supply it. They say I am not qualified.

I am on 6 for liter flow due to COPD. Today when I received my oxygen tanks, 16 were delivered, even though I left 19 empty ones for pickup. Company rep told me that clients are limited to 16 tanks every two weeks. (The first I've heard of that). I volunteer Fridays at VA and use four tanks each Friday. That leaves me with eight for the other 12 days between deliveries. Which is ridiculous!

Apria Healthcare
Horrible customer service. They never contacted me to set up a refill schedule for my oxygen tank, and when the tank was delivered the driver told me it was covered by my insurance. Then, with no phone call, no mail, no contact at all, they hit my credit card for $300!!! I'll do without the oxygen before I deal with these idiots any more.

Northwest Medical Center
DO NOT GO HERE - I had a knee replacement surgery here last week. Worst hospital ever. They could not keep track of my medications and the majority of the technicians were uncaring and unprofessional. Sad to say I can only remember the name of one nurse "Ivens" who was one of my night nurses and was the best. My daughter is in the medical profession and she ended up changing my wet bedding since they felt laying on a damp pad was acceptable. Last day there the nurse mentioned that I wanted a flu and pneumonia shot before I went home. I had to tell her they had already given it to me. She asked me "when" I recommended she check my chart! don't go here.

Just a moment...
