Dr. Kevin Pounds has been my Dr. for Ten years or so. For the longest time I felt that he was doing me good and helping me deal with problems beyond the normal scope of medical issues. However, now I am at my lowest point in health, being that my issues are progressive and involve mobility problems and chronic pain that is not treatable, I get a letter from Him that he is not going to treat me anymore due to excessive cancellations.I last saw him in January. I was actually hospitalized for one appointment that was cancelled since then. Then I wasn't sure I could do a follow up, I am sure a Dr. should understand that following up from an emergency isn 't always possible. Do they not know that bed rest might be the better option. I made the appt. I realize I cancelled three appts. in a row; but the day before I was supposed to go in, police and The Federal theft authorities said they were coming out for me to file a complaint since I have had serious issues with credit card fraud and identity theft. All the hospitals in AZ are becoming a nightmare to be in. The truth is found in many medical services provided, definite filtering of abusive and rude employees is necessary. So much so, that a large recruit of medical criminal investigators should be hired for a thorough clean up. I have issues with the fact that the front desk schedules the appointments and therein lies the problem. Even telling them what the reason is for the visit to the Dr. they maintain to be focused on scheduling around the Dr. and not the ill person that has to meet the deadline set for their appearance with a busy Dr. My husband is going to Orange Grove tomorrow to try to assuage this situation. Even the employees have an idea that It is difficult for me to be outside my home for every reason imaginable. When my husband calls the front desk to cancel, they acted like it was no problem to him and even said "it's cancelled" before he gave an explanation. Dr. Pound may just be at a loss as to what to do for me. If that is the case, then that is what he should say. Not turn me away because my unpredictable health issues have kept me from making it into his office. Ever feel like you've been stabbed in the back? By the way, one hospital, Northwest, told me they were sending me home when I required emergent medical treatment. After I fussed because the ambulance was dispatched because of what I said and they knew that treatment n the ER was necessary, Northwest Hospital staff tried to send me away feeling worse even when I left home to get there.
when you watch all those comercials on tv, you see the big yellow face and all the people in their blue smocks smiling and looking more than happy to help people. when you go to this site, no one is polite, they feel inconvienced if you ask them for help. i had taken a watch back after 3 days because it didnt work, and the lady told me that i had to pay the $3 difference because when i bought it, it was on sale, but its not anymore. i had the toughest time trying to explaine to her that its not my fault that the watch didnt work, and if it did, i wouldnt be here trying to exchange it, and why i refused to pay 3 more dollars. i even had the "good-bye" lady, w/the those little yellow smile stickers, push me and my cart out the door when i was 9 mo pregnant waiting for my husband to get the car! i guess i was standing in her way of the door, i dont know. i felt that was extreamly rude! also their bath rooms are discusting!! i will hold it for hours before i would go in there! i'm supprised they dont get shut down by the board of health! but i tell you one thing, i still shop here, why? because no where else can you go for those prices... i guess you get what you pay for, right?
We are a couple who had a failed IVF process with a different fertility doctor and we felt that our individual case was not really taken into consideration. While meeting with Dr. Mansfield, we got the impression that she takes the time to understand each persons differences and complications. She seems very interested in making sure that she gives you the BEST options based on your current situations, rather than a one size fits all plan. Everyone here seems very nice, empathetic, and happy to help us. We are very happy with our experience so far.
This place is cool! Mr King would approve! They seem to have a little of everything and priced pretty reasonable. I really like the crafting section, fabrics, glue, thread, stencils, it was neat and I walked out with several good deals. The guy behind the counter was friendly and made me feel right at home, He laughed and joked around and made the expedience that much more enjoyable. The parking could use some improvement , it's kind of small but well worth the stop if you're a thrift store junkie like me. Oh and the 25 cent buckets outside, WOW!
Dr. Barone has been working with me for the past few years on chronic pain management related to injuries suffered while in the military. My pain will never fully resolve, but I've always been appreciative of Dr. Barone's approach to pain management which includes a blend of compassion, professional expertise, and understanding of his patient. I would highly recommend a consultation with Dr. Barone if you have chronic pain issues. He will set you on the right path to healing and help you manage your life to nearly full normalcy.
One of the best and most compassionate doctors in Tucson. He treats holistically. Whereas most doctors simply treat a symptom or disease process, he never forgets his patients are actual living, breathing human beings, worthy of respect. This is a trait that has become very rare in doctors today. I don't know if he is accepting new patients at this time, but it is worth the effort to try to get on his patient list. I pray for him every day ( he has been fighting health problems of his own) and I thank G-d for finding him for me.
Dr. Mansfield is professional, knowledgeable on current research, and compassionate. Her clinic staff are friendly and helpful. As a patient, I had two prior cycles cancelled and Dr. Mansfield discussed my options and felt it would be possible to proceed. She did additional testing and looked at me as a person not just a patient. I would whole heartedly recommend Arizona Reproductive Institute to anyone has felt frustrated with the process or wants a new approach based on sound medical evidence.
I love dr. Thili because she's worth the wait . She's probably what doctors used to be like: thorough and meticulous with a holistic and professional approach to any and all of ones health issues. She asks questions, listens, and asks if you have questions. Her office is no frills but that doesn't matter. Her knowledge and professional attention to my health has always been impressive and more comforting than many rushed, phony sounding doctors I've seen in more luxurious clinics.
It's a thrift store, people, not Bloomingdales! This is one of my favorite places in the neighborhood. Can always find what I need, or something to be re-purposed for what I need. Prices are reasonable, better than Goodwil, and better toward the ends of the racks. No dressing rooms? Thank the shoplifters for that. If I'm planning on trying on clothes, I wear something very tight so I can slip over, or very loose so I can slip under.
I've been seeing Dr. Brewer as an OBGYN for many years. He has delivered both of my children. He and his staff are very friendly. His facilities are very clean, modern, and comfortable. I rarely have to wait long to be seen. I feel confident that he has always been very knowledgable, and has his patient's best interests at heart. I highly recommend this provider.
