Dishonest, Con Artists... A rookie mechanic got a spark plug socket stuck in my engine, cylinder 8. I then took my vehicle to another mechanic who told that he removed the socket but all he did was cut the spark plug wire boot so that it would fit inside the engine looking as if the socket was removed (I found this out a month later) but I trusted him without verifying. I kept getting engine codes and took it to MVP German Auto. Their diagnostic said cylinders 6 and 8 were misfiring. Their dishonest mechanic took spark plugs from someone elses car then told me that they were my plugs from cylinders 6 and 8 and even allowed me to take a picture.MVP German Auto told me I needed to change all the plugs. So I went to another mechanic due to not wanting to pay MVP German Auto's price of $731.00 to change spark plugs However the new freelance mechanic took his camera probe and showed me the same socket that was stuck over a month ago... It immediately became clear that MVP German Auto Repair are Con Artists.MVP German Auto Repair conned me of $165 for a diagnostic FALSE report.MVP German Auto is NOT good for the community.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!I had been Looking for a car for almost 2 months. After being lied to and even cussed out, I came upon Richard's dealership. Not only were they flexible and honest, Richard and his son Eric are truly passionate on what they do. When I got there to see the car, I wasn't pressured by Eric. The add said the car was in excellent condition, but to be fair an honest, the car was beyond that. Not only had they replaced the necessary maintenance items, but replaced some cosmetical items that gave the car that, "new car" feeling. I have already recommended them to 2 people and it's only been 3 days since I bought the car. Yes, their cars will be priced at or above market value, but you know you'll have a vehicle ready to get in and drive across country.

UNBELIEVABLY GOOD used car buying experience! Decent, honest, down to earth folks & family-owned (father/son) business. These guys are more 'car enthusiasts' than car salesmen. Very refreshing and unusual for this industry, that makes average people like me very anxious...buying a used car from who knows who...often unscrupulous 'dealers'. Eric and dad know their stuff, are long-time Atlanta residents and run an honest business. As for the couple negative reviews, some people like the nasty game of car haggling and that's what they expect to play...well, this isn't the game these guys are playing. If you're in the market for a used vehicle of the kind they have in their fleet, do yourself a favor and give them a try! (seriously, 5 stars across the board!)

Richard was very agreeable and reasonable. The car I bought from them is a cream puff for its age and type of car. One of my best experiences in buying a car from a dealer.

CR Auto Collision Paint & Body Shop
Joseph King provided an estimate for work on my car that was quite detailed for us. We selected CR to do the work, and I picked up the car today. The work was excellent, Joseph was very professional and nice to deal with, and the car was clean as a pin when I picked it up. Thank you, CR. Thank you, Joseph.

Castrol Premium Lube Express
Came here to get my emissions tested and they were quick and efficient. They've got a nice waiting area for the short wait I did have. The price was definitely right to - just $15!

Atlanta Autopro
I've been going to Atlanta Autopro for a few years since I realized how much money I was wasting going to the dealer. The price is right and the service is always on time and convenient. I like going to a small shop like this where you can talk to the folks that actually worked on your car. Definitely recommend for those in the Tucker/Northlake area.

if I could give them less that a star I would. They did not back up there work. We had to go back after an alignment because the steering whieel was not straight. They redid the alignment and made it worst. They were suppose to balance the tires after putting on tires we bought from them . They did not. On the way home my husband stopped by the place were we usually do business and they said the alignment we so far off their new machine would not ever register it and they told him the wheels had not been balanced. We called and was told we should have brought it back. We told them we did and you guys made it worst. This was a 33 mile trip for us one way. He said well they don't warrant their work when we asked for a refund for the alignment. Never will I go here again. ?Thought we were getting a good deal on the tires so we decided to do the oil change and alignment there while they had it on the rack. So much for that idea.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
