Northwest Oil Express
I have been a loyal customer for several years now. It is nice to see the familiar faces of people who have been doing this job for a while. The technicians offer fast service and helpful maintenance recommendations. This place also offers free fill-ups between oil changes. Went in there a few weeks ago to get my driver's side tire aired up and my oil topped off. Not all Oil change places are created equal. I had one place in town tell me I needed a $99 transmission fluid change because my transmission fluid was "dark brown" when I had checked the TF fluids earlier in the week it was bright pink. So I now go to Northwest Oil Express.

Performance Plus Quick Lube
Performance plus quick lube at 2411 s.airport road in traverse city Michigan is the most cleanest Quick lube we have ever visited with the most professional employees and management we have seen since texas and would highly recommend them to anyone who is in the area. Anyone who says other wise obviously does not know what the hell they are talking about and should go back to whatever wierd hole in the wall they climbed out of.:-):-):-)

Northwest Oil Express
Best oil change I've ever had!
Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
