Qualified Roofing
After trying to find a roofer to fit our short time frame, we contacted Joel with Qualified Roofing. He and his crew showed up on the job the next day and they were finished with our roofing job within 24 hours. Joel was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, fast, hardworking, and fair. His crew cleaned everything up once the job was over. Our house is an older one that had a flue as well as a fireplace, and both were leaking. He flashed and counter flashed both of them, and though we did have those leaks, when he finished flashing it we don't think it will ever leak again. Not only would we recommend him highly to everyone, he will be the one that we will call when we need a good roofer. Thanks Joel!

Fast and Professional! We had a leak at one of our facilitates that houses high powered electronics. The first roofer we called the day previous (a Thursday) fell through the day of. Joel understood the urgency and made time for us on his busy Friday. He came prepared only a few hours later! His associate and him made a repair on the roof that day! They really saved our butts, they were friendly, and educated us on the cause of the leak. Highly recommended!

Amazing !! Strapped for cash, with two surgeries looming in my future, the last thing I needed was a roof repair. I was told by a good friend to give Joel a call, so glad I did. He gave me an honest assessment, follwed up with BEAUTIFUL work, quickly completed, and the price actually fit into my budget, (one thing less to worry about). Thank You Joel !!!

They came highly recommended by a friend. Joel and John were great to work with. Their crew did a great job and even replaced a few boards in our deck that they saw needed replacing. Joel also caught an issue with our insurance claim and worked with the adjuster to correct the issue getting us an additional $4,000.

Joel came into the picture after another company (I won't mention their name) made a huge mess if my job/home. In a day it was once again water proof, all torn off, cleaned up and spotless. The next day they were done. Very helpful and the price was very good. I'd recommend them to anyone needing a roof.

Tips & Advices
Roofers commonly use certain supplies to handle the task of roof repair. A scaffold or a shingle lift is often used to access the roof. Roofers wear hard hats, and they typically wear soft-soled steel-toed shoes that protect their feet and provide optimum traction. Roofers use basic equipment such as caulking guns, paint brushes, electric or cordless drills, wheelbarrows, pop-rivet guns, power brooms, power spudders, shovels, backpack blowers, and high-pressure washers.
Certain supplies are needed when performing a do-it-yourself roof repair project. Working on a roof can be dangerous, and a safety harness with a rope and anchor point is essential equipment if you want to help prevent a fall. You'll also need a ladder, roofing nails, a crowbar, a utility knife, a tape measure, a chalk line, and a hammer.
Algae-resistant roofing shingles are shingles that have been specially built to resist algae growth. A common method for accomplishing this involves including copper granules in the shingles during the manufacturing process. Algae growth can cause unsightly black streaks on your home's roof, and this may lower your property values.
It can take less than a day to put on a new roof, but it could take as long as several days if the roof is large and complex. Weather conditions will also impact the length of time required for this task, and wind, snow, or rain will slow the process.
In general, the average lifespan of a roof is 20 to 25 years. However, the lifespan of your home's roof will be closely linked to the roofing materials used. Roofing made with asphalt shingles can last 15-30 years, and a metal roof may last 30-45 years. A roof made with concrete tile could last 35-50 years.
