Vinson Animal Hospital at Towson
Vinson's is a fantastic Animal Hospital. They are by far the most compassionate and caring vet we've ever been to. I've had dogs my entire life and used to go to another vet until a few years ago. We started taking our lab to Vinsons towards the end of his life and they were so welcoming and understood how hard it was to let him go. When our dog finally passed they sent a card in the mail with a personal note from vet who took care of him. We eventually got another puppy and he was terrified of everyone and everything in the office, even the fish tank. The vet performed his entire exam sitting on the ground with our little guy. Now our dog loves going to vet to see his new friends. And to this day our vet still gets down on the ground and practices tricks with our dog. Everyone in the office just adores their patients.Fantastic place and I will continue to go there as long as I have a dog!!!

Elegant Hair Salon
Towson location has moved to Lutherville next to Best Buy (5min away)FOLLOWED THEM! :)Best hair cut I've ever had. Started going there 2 years ago after a botch job at a "high end" Towson Salon. I have long, thick/wavy Caucasian hair; Denis took his time and the end result was perfect.Since then I have gotten my boyfriend to be a regular (very particular about is shoulder length hair), and a friend try bangs for the first time (think she went to Shirley and was ecstatic how they turned out)I also get my nails done by Po who always does a professional job while I unwind in the top of the line massage chairs.Nicest people, reasonable prices, and quality every time.

All About Me Salon & Day Spa
Racheal is the best waxing lady I have ever been to!!! I have had terrible experiences with other waxing ladies and often times hesitant to try someone new. I have been going to Racheal for about 2 years now and can't imagine going anywhere else. She is fast and thorough. She makes you feel super comfortable and makes you feel like you can tell her anything. Recently I went through a lot of stuff and found that telling Racheal made me feel better. She really cares about her customers. She is simply awesome!!! I don't know what I will do when I have to leave Maryland:(

Beltway Animal Hospital
I was stunned to read the review from the lady that had her cat put down. I couldn't imagine this was the vet I know.Because Thank God for them, is all I can say. Before I went to Beltway Animal Hospital, I took my dogs to the fancy over-priced fou-fou vet, who, in fact did everything wrong.Beltway Animal Hospital are amazing. They are the reason my little man is still with me after 16 eventful years. They're kind, knowledgable, and fair. And I'm so grateful to them. Would rave about them to anybody!

Blue Ceiling Salon
Love, Love, Love KellyShe's been doing my hair for twenty-five years!! Each and every time we try something new-- and you can imagine how many times that has happened over the years, people always ask where I go. I've been a blonde, a red head, piecy with spikes you name it. Now we're natural-curly or smoothe and straight with a blown out bob. Once again... folks are asking, "Where do you go?"

Beltway Animal Hospital
Been going to Beltway since I was a teen, and my mom had dogs. I once went to another vet and they were expensive. Like Dr. Smiths no nonsense approach to canine health. Still miss Dr Shortall, now gone 4 years. All he had to do was lay a hand on a dog and know instinctively what was wrong. He also rebuilt my dogs ear canal!

Always a pleasant experience. I am extemely particular about what products are used in my hair but I never have to worry here. Everything is natural! It is a peaceful and relaxing environment. An escape from my busy day and something I look forward to. Can't wait until my next visit.

Tips & Advices
Bring medical records and medications that your pet is taking. Also, you should bring your ID and a form of payment.
Yes, there are veterinary clinics that only deal with emergency cases. They generally take walk-ins and referrals from family vets.
Yes, emergency vets treat dental emergencies and dental trauma. Freshly fractured teeth are the main category of dental injury that vets consider an emergency.
To prevent health emergencies, experts recommend supervising one’s pets, and trying to make sure they don’t get into emergency situations. A majority of emergency vet visits happen because animals were struck by cars, bit by other animals, or ingested toxins. Otherwise, the best way to prevent emergencies is by having a go-to vet you can call with any questions, and being vigilant about potential symptoms (i.e. runny stool, or trouble walking) as they appear but before they become extremely serious.
Experts say that the conditions that necessitate an emergency veterinarian visit include collapse, seizures, inability to walk, partial paralysis, and any difficulty breathing (non-stop panting, constant coughing, hyperventilation, or elevated heart rate). Gum color is often an indicator that something is wrong--especially blue gums or very pale gums. Excessive vomiting or a distended abdomen should be considered an emergency situation. Signs of any trauma or excessive bleeding should send your pet straight to the vet. Lastly, for cat owners, urinary obstruction is fatal if not treated, and generally occurs in male cats.
