Blue Streak Plumbing
Super Bowl Sunday morning - what plumber is going to answer their phone or come out ? Blue Streak Plumbing - Efrain ! Last nite at 11 pm we found out neither of our toilets would flush or our showers drain and it's Super Bowl tomorrow.... So no showers and can't use either toilet. 8 am started calling plumbers - ones we've used before and new ones. We had never used Blue Streak but he had good reviews so called. We got a call back within 15 mins and he arrived before 9 am. He was here for 1 1/2 hrs and he cleared the drains and got us working again. He gave us a thorough explanation of what the problem was, showed us and gave us an estimate for the permanent fix. We asked how much for today's service - he said $49.95 like my ad says. Far too reasonable considering no one else called us back- probably because it's Super Bowl Sunday. Unfortunately clogged sewage lines don't care what day or time it is.... Thank you again Efrain!

Cornett Plumbing & Heating Inc.
I recently had work done on both my duplex and little house. The owner Dave came over and looked at the heating & plumbing issues for all 3 units, gave me a price quote and answered all my questions. We scheduled the work necessary. What I liked is his quote was from the minimum items that could be replaced & fixed up to the more expensive options so I could choose what best fit my budget. He arrived on time and finished up all the work as promised. Fair, honest, trustworthy describes my experience. I would highly recommend his Company to anyone needing work. JBrennan, Torrance, CA>

Blue Streak Plumbing
If I could, I would rate Blue Streak Plumbing & Rooter at 6 stars out of 5 stars. The service and price was outstanding. Since it was a big job, it required 3 separate am appointments and each time they arrived on time and efficient. The price for excellent work was far below other estimates. If you need a plumber for any job, small or large Efrain IS THE BEST!!!

Blue Streak Plumbing
Absolutely great plumber! Showed up on time and was able to replace my #$%$, leaking drainage pipe in less than an hour and for far less than the other plumbers. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Ephraim is my new go-to plumber.

Torrance Leak Repair
I was looking for an electrician in the San Francisco and Paul's yelp came up with 5 stars and now I know why. He is now in my contact list.
Tips & Advices
The following tools and common household objects can be used to clean drains at home:
  • A plunger
  • A drain snake
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Grease-fighting dish soap
Homeowners can mix boiling water with any of the last three products to break up grease and grime.
The main ingredients in clog removal liquid products are sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite. According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, both break down into relatively harmless components when it comes into contact with water or soil. However, both substances cause mild irritation to skin and internal tissues.
Also known as a drain auger, a drain snake is a coiled device around ΒΌ-inch thick. To use a drain snake, put the end into the entrance of the drain. Turn the handle to force the snake deeper, using extra pressure to force it through the bend in the pipe. Keep turning until the snake hits the clog, then either pull the snake and remove the obstruction or force it through. Once the snake is out of the drain, run the water on full blast for a few minutes to ensure the obstruction is completely removed.
Plungers don't damage residential pipes, but the force created by the act of plunging weakens the seal between the toilet and the floor.
Many plumbers, both local businesses and nationwide chains, offer emergency or same-day services.
