The Learning Garden Preschool
WONDERFUL DAYCARE/PRESCHOOL!My daughter is now 2 years old and has always been looking forward to going to this school each day since she was 6 months old! She practically jumps into their arms when she arrives there. All the teachers and director love and nurture the children. The school has been there for a very long time. My daughter was very excited since day one when she was only a few months old there. She seems to continually flourish, learning new things from playing in doors and out doors with the children. There is constant supervision by very nice care givers. They send a small report home each day to show what activities they participated in which increases with age, how much they ate, when the diaper was changed, etc!I am an engineer for the city of LA, and I'm very careful about where to send my baby these days, and this place gives me full peace of mind as I go to work each day! They are easy to talk to, always answers their phones, and will work with your schedule reasonably. I have checked out other day cares within half hr radius, and I would highly recommend this school. Teachers' attitude/personality towards parents & children are very important. This school respects you and loves children like their own. Consistently professional, kind, patient, nurturing, sweet, caring, and responsible; never neglectful! I wanted to keep my baby at home before sending her to a daycare, but I believe that she should learn and socialize with children her age as soon as possible. I could not keep her home until she's 4 yrs old. She would get restless, bored, upset,... After just attending a month, she is happier, more confident, curious, speaking, and walking. :) I'm looking forward to more as she goes thru the program and mingling there. Oh, I also very much appreciate the security they have at the entrance door, so no stranger can enter!Thank You everyone there!

Young Explorer Montessori
Happy Face Preschool is the BEST! Our five-year-old attended a few different daycares/preschools when she was younger. She started attending Happy Face Preschool soon after she turned two, and we have been extremely satisfied with the result. The director and teachers have 20+ years of experience in early childhood education and are very nice. Our daughter learned so much, both academically and socially. The minute our son turned two-years-old, he began attending Happy Face! I couldn't say enough positive things about this school.

Sunnyside Nursing Center
Sunnyside Nursing Center staff members are very compassionate and caring. They used a team approach (medical, clinical, and administrative) to develop a care plan with medication regimens, meal planning, and therapeutic exercises to increase my moms' mobility and functionality. I highly recommend this location. You can see that the facility prides itself on caring for your loved ones by the atmosphere, staff, and quality care. My mom is doing very well, she is now home. Thank you.. Sunnyside Renee
Tips & Advices
If you don't have insurance, you may be able to find outpatient programs like Narcotics Anonymous that offer counseling and meetings for patients at no cost.
Some facilities accept health insurance like United Healthcare, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Humana and Medicaid. Many carriers support in-state assessment, detox and outpatient treatment. Some also partially cover residential or inpatient treatment. Because drug addiction is considered a disease, major health insurance providers must treat it like any other chronic condition that requires medical treatment. Be sure to inquire about co-pays and deductibles so you don't receive a surprise bill months after you start a program.
Yes. Some treatment programs promote quick sobriety through seemingly impossible means, such as herbal supplements or religious affiliation. Be wary of questionable claims like, "Shake your drug addiction in one week!" If the advertising sounds too good to be true, the program could potentially be a scam. Instead, look for organizations that include approval and certification from real doctors and health care providers.
Yes. Attending a program that is specific to your drug of choice will make your treatment much more likely to be impactful and successful.  Some provide certain users with medications like Valium and Xanax to counteract symptoms of distress associated with alcohol or drug withdrawals. You may not want to attend such programs if you fear that you may instead become addicted to these substances.
Yes. A physician can determine how severe your addiction is, which will help you decide if you want to try inpatient or outpatient treatment. He or she can also consider any withstanding health issues such as psychiatric conditions that should be factored into your decision. Next, check out facilities and programs that offer treatment for the substances that you abuse.
