Wolk Fredrick N MD
The Doctor gets all stars, -1 is for the staff. Dr. Wolk himself is excellent. The staff can use more organizational skills. Some can use more people skills because a few are a little rude. 1. I called ahead to let them know that I was a new patient to make the first visit more easier on everyone & to have the paperwork process more efficient but when I got there they didn't even give me the document's to fill out right away, they told me have a seat. After sitting for approx. 5 min. I had to go back up to the window & ask if there's any paperwork for me to fill out? They said oh yes. 2. I mentioned over the phone first that I need a spanish translator, they said I need to tell them at the window when I sign in for my visit. Then I've stated every time I go for my visit & sign in at the window I need a spanish translator. They still don't send anyone else in the room with the Doctor.

Dr. Janet H. Lee, D.O. Internal Medicine
Fantastic doctor. I'm an athlete and recently felt I was hitting the wall much sooner than expected when I ran. She put a heart monitor on me. In disbelief, my heart was skipping like crazy. Turns out i needed a pacemaker. Imagine, another doctor just said don't workout so hard. I'm back to my routine now and can't say enough how much I appreciate Dr. Lee.

Dardashti Kambiz Dr
Dr. Dardashti is an excellent doctor and surgeon. You are in good hands with him. He is responsive, kind and caring. My husband has gone to him for years for his kidney stones and will continue to do so. The office staff is friendly and Karen is an excellent manager. She stays on top of the insurance requirements and surgery scheduling so you don't have to.

Parker Hearing Institute
I was referred by a friend. I went in for swimmers ear and and they are very professional and explained things clearly. I got custom swim plugs and I'm considering hearing aids because my hearing is going bad (too many live concerts). The girls at the front desk are very nice and the place seems to treat their patients like family.

Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
