Dr. Moshir Jacob, MD
The office staff lies over the phone, pretending their clinic policies are federal law. They are unhelpful in nearly every way. In the 3 years I went I only saw Dr Mosier 1 time, and I never actually felt like a patient. It feels more like Urgent care than a real Drs. office. They over charge and then refuse to help saying quote "there's nobody here you can talk to"When I called back and pointed out they had lied to me on the phone the response was "whatever". I would suggest going to a real, functioning, Dr's office. Not whatever this is. You can't have a Dr's office without trust.

I WONDERED WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS DR AFTER NUYU CLOSED DOWN. SHE WAS HORRIBLE...I SPENT SEVERAL THOUSANDS THERE ON FACIAL INJECTIONS SHE KEPT TALKING ME INTO! THE LAST I WAS TOLD BY BEST FRIEND I LOOKED LIKE LOPSIDED CHIPMUNK! I STILL HAVE PINHOLES ON LINING OF LIPS THAT BLEED NOW AND THEN THAT SHE INJECTED SAYING SHE HAD EXTRA LEFT FROM INJECTING FROM NOSE TO LIPS AND IT WOULD PUMP UP MY LIPS. COST ME $810 AND I LOOKED TERRIBLE AFTERWARDS. SHE DIDNT CARE AT ALL WHEN I WENT IN TO COMPLAIN. SHE WAS JUST OUT TO GET THE QUICK MONEY AND I DONT THINK SHE WAS EVEN QUALIFIED TO BE DOING MOST OF THIS! SHE WAS VERY IMPERSONAL. I SURE WISH I HAD EVEN HALF THE MONEY BACK SHE TOOK FROM ME!!

I was a new patient and came here after another consultation and let me tell you, I was greeted with a smile and spent a good long while talking to Dr. Gupta about possible surgery. I was able to ask him all sorts of questions and he was thorough and took plenty of time with me. I work in the medical profession and appreciate his kindness and his wisdom.

I just had surgery a few weeks ago and am feeling sore, but past the rough days, getting better each day. Just like they told me I would. Dr has answered a lot of my questions and that has been so nice.

I am a new patient here, so far its good. Easy to schedule, I liked how they told me about surgery and how to get a date and I came in ready to book.

Tips & Advices
Scoliosis is a disorder where the spine curves sideways. Most people develop the condition during the growth spurt before puberty. The cause of scoliosis is unknown and most cases are mild, but the rare severe instances can disable a person.
Orthopedic surgeons attend four years of medical school, then four to five years of orthopedic residency in a hospital. They must also be licensed and certified in orthopedic surgery by the state in which they practice.
The terms "orthopedic doctor" and "orthopedic surgeon" refer to the same profession. Related specialties include podiatrist, a doctor who works with the bones, tendons and ligaments in the feet, and a sports medicine physician, a doctor specially trained to treat athletes.
The cost of a visit to an orthopedic surgeon depends on the type of tests ordered and treatment given. For example, an MRI costs $500-$1,300. An initial consultation costs $100- $500, while anesthesia for a procedure generally ranges from $2,000-$4,000. Overall, an orthopedic surgery can cost anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000.
During a consultation or first appointment with an orthopedic surgeon, the practitioner will ask the patient a variety of questions to understand the situation. The surgeon might ask about the patient's pain levels, medical history, and any prior injuries. Then, the surgeon will administer a physical exam and possibly schedule tests to better understand the problem. Possible tests include a stress test, x-ray, or MRI.
