I am replying to the 1st comment. I too had an unenjoyable experience with one of his dental assistants. Unfortunately the way his office is laid out there isnt very much privacy because the operatories are open. I managed an dental office for years and this is definitely a violation of the HIPPA law amongst just plain out ethics. I am just curious if you and I had the issues with the same assistant... I myself just started in his office in June, had a tooth pulled, which definitely needed it but I had to go back 2 days later because my jaw was swelling with infection, which the dentist immediately said and saw once he came in but beforehand I had a loud mouth assistant yell and tell him I just had a dry socket, which is the furthest thing from what was going on with me as he told her himself. He did tell her at that point she needed to have more discrestion in discussing patiensts care. Im sorry you had such a bad experience. But if you would like to find a dentist you like better, check with your insurance company to osee who is in network for you... My first visit with the DR himself, I thought he was gentle and kind. Im sorry you had such a poor experience. Please dont let this experience keep you from seeking help having your teeth taken care of.... You can contact me at if you would like to discuss any further and give you some tips on finding a dentist that fits to your liking better. By chance, did you mention it to DR Benedict @ how she had made you feel by her not showing more discretion??? i wish you the best luck and if I dont ever speek to you, please take care of those teeth. Our teeth are alot more important to our health than most may realize, if it gets serious it can honestly cause you heart problems-even a heart attack, depending on each individuals situation.... PLEASE dont let this unethical assistant stop you from finding the care you need for your teeth... SORRY to hear about this... I just wish I knew if it was the same one I had issues with.

I can't say enough good things about this dental practice. Everyone is warm and friendly as soon as you walk through the door. As someone who fears the dentist, they do an amazing job making me feel comfortable. The complimentary nitrous oxide is awesome as they truly do "Cater to Cowards" like me. This past visit, I also took advantage of the $98 custom zoom whitening. It only took a few minutes to make the impressions and the actual act of making the impressions was very easy (I had flashbacks to terrible experiences making my retainer impressions in high school!). They do everything with the patient in mind and make everything as easy as they can. I recommend them to everyone I know!

Midwest Dental Center Dr Taiwo Ngo DDS
I don't care for the office but I only go there because I have crappy insurance and they have available Saturdays. The doctor is nice, she's quiet, which is okay because I'm quiet too, and she does work fast. My first visit, the hygienists was great and I liked her but I don't think she's there anymore. The staff all seems rude there, like they don't really care for you as a patient. All they want is to get the work done fast and get you out of there. When you call they ask you what you need done, they fix the problem, then boot you out without even bothering to make a future appointment to come back. But what can you expect with state insurance no one accepts?

Midwest Dental Center Dr Taiwo Ngo DDS
Dr. T. Ngo is a GREAT dentist. Every time I have been there for abstractions, even two broken teeth, she is FAST. Most dentist it seems it takes a long time to get a tooth out but Dr. Ngo is so experienced and good at what she does, you are in and out of that chair FAST. She gets the job done FAST and ACCURATE. NO pain, it's the best dental experience I have ever had honestly and I have been to about 7 different dentist in my 46 years of life. I HIGHLY recommend her. Getting an appointment is fast and easy too!

I could not be happier with my experience. It went as well as a root canal can go. No pain and pain free days following. Highly recommended!! I was very nervous to have the procedure done, but was shocked when it was completed and felt great!!

Dental Definitions
At first I thought they seemed a little Unprofessional but I had to change my mind. They took care of problems I have had for years with other dentists and I am no longer afraid to have my mouth worked on.

I enjoy the people, and the service was great. I especially like being interview on what the cost was before the service was started. Also the sit down at the end to pay the bill. Very plesant.
Tips & Advices
This depends on the prosthetic.
  • Dental implants, when cared for properly, can last a lifetime.
  • Crowns typically last between 10-15 years.
  • Resin-bonded bridges typically last between seven  and 10 years. Tooth-supported fixed bridges generally wear out faster than this.
  • Removable partial dentures typically last around 15 years.
  • Complete dentures typically last between five and six years.
The entire process for adding dental implants could take as long as eight months. There are three phases:
  • Phase 1: Grafting. This may take between three and six  months.
  • Phase 2: Artificial root placement. This may take one to two  hours to complete and will take between three and six  months to heal.
  • Phase 3: Crown placement. This is usually done over the course of two visits, two weeks apart.
One dental implant typically costs $1,000-$3,000. However, the abutment (a connector added onto the top of a dental implant) and crown can add $500-$3,000. Multiple dental implants may cost $3,000-$30,000. A full set of implant dentures may cost as much as $90,000, though the average is around $34,000.
A dental implant is a titanium post shaped like a natural tooth's root that is surgically inserted into the jawbone beneath the gums. These posts allow dentists to secure a replacement tooth or bridge in the correct position.
Maxillofacial prosthesis is a subspecialty of prosthodontics. A maxillofacial prosthesis is meant to rehabilitate patients who have defects or disabilities due to trauma, disease, or those that a patient is has from birth. The prosthesis is designed to replace parts of the bone or tissue that are missing, or to help restore functions of the mouth, such as swallowing, chewing, or speaking. Other prostheses are created to protect the face during radiation therapy. Dentists that work with maxillofacial prostheses often collaborate closely with ear, nose, and throat doctors.
