Pet Supplies Plus
The staff was very helpful and kind. They carried our aquarium out to the car. Plus, they ordered it in advance and held it till our purchase date! I'd recommend them to anyone.

Petco
I took my two dogs to get their nails clipped at the grooming salon. I normally go to a different grooming salon, but they were closed today so I stopped at the Petco in Toledo, Ohio. Never will I go there again. My first dog has had his nails cut many times before without an issue, and has never whined or cried. This time, however, he kept crying and whining while she was cutting his nails. This already worried me a bit. Then, while the worker was cutting the nails of my other dog, I heard her say, "Oops, that was a little short." I look to see a pool of blood forming underneath my dog's back paw. The worker explained that this is normal sometimes, but I've never had this experience before. When I looked at my dog's nail, it was clipped almost down to her paw. I was so upset, and my dog was so stressed and scared, so I told her to stop what she was doing and I would take my dog somewhere else some other time to finish the clipping. I will never subject my dogs to that experience again.

Pretty good selection of Kitty Condos, but a tad pricey. I could have probably built my own, but time was really a factor. I opted to just outright buy one.Staff is friendly and pretty helpful.
Tips & Advices
Pet owners usually sign a waiver stating that any injury or illness a dog suffers while at daycare is the responsibility of the owner. However, most facilities carry liability insurance and pet business insurance in the event of a serious incident. To prevent illness, facilities are strict about requiring proof of vaccination and general health from a veterinarian prior to accepting a dog. However, in an off-leash setting, scuffles or fights might occur. Reputable facilities will often hire vet assistants who can treat minor injuries and under-the-weather dogs.  For anything more serious, a good daycare should make it a priority to get the dog to a vet, and get in immediate contact with the owner.
