West Park Place
My mother, who just recently celebrated her 90th birthday (at West Park Place, BTW), has been a resident at West Park Place, 3501 Executive Pkwy, Toledo, OH for almost 3 years. Simply put, she couldn't be happier there! Our experience with _all_ of the employees and administrative staff has been very positive. My impression--and that of my 5 siblings--is that West Park Place goes to great lengths to make their residents feel welcome and at home. West Park Place plans and organizes a wide variety of activities not just for the benefit of its residents, but for their extended families as well. My wife and I and kids/grandkids have thoroughly enjoyed participating in the annual summer picnic and 'Breakfast With Santa', and other themed luncheon events hosted by West Park Place for extended families. Since I am one of two siblings living locally, before mom moved to West Park Place, it would be my responsibility to take her to her medical appointments and various shopping trips/errands. WPP provides this service--among many others--for its residents. In my mom's case, it is a way that helps her continue to feel independent and in control. For a senior who has made the decision to leave the comfort zone of their own home (after, in my mom's case, 60 years in her own home), West Park Place offers a perfect fit for her. One of reasons the transition was made smoother was because the employees at West Park Place treat residents with loving respect and kindness. I would strongly urge anyone looking on behalf of an aging parent, to include West Park Place in your search.

West Park Place
My father has been a resident at West Park Place for 2 years. During this time my father; whom has dementia has been treated with dignity, respect and caring from all of the staff. He considers West Park Place "home"...when myself or my sister takes him out for errands or a family gathering, he is always anxious to get home. He loves the privacy of his own apartment, it looks just like his old house! He loves to play cards and when the mood strikes, all he has to do is go downstairs to find may willing card partners! He enjoys having dinner in the dining room and has favorite entrees and favorite waitresses! Whenever I am visiting, it makes me feel good to see all of the staff interact with him as if he were their family too! The staff checks on him twice a day which makes me feel good. An added bonus is that the housekeepers clean his apartment weekly which is a job I no longer have to worry about. My father adores the bus driver Mo who takes him out to Kroger. I can't say enough good things about the caring and compassionate staff whom obviously were born to do this type work!

Leffler's Antiques
Bought an antique signed 100 year-old Miller slag lamp over the phone. They cleaned it before shipping and assured me it is in very good condition. It is in amazing condition and even better looking than the photos. Nothing broken. Phew! The lamp is very fragile due to the glass shade. The packed the shade and base in two separate boxes. And when I opened up the box with the shade I saw another box inside. So they double-boxed the shade and put a layer of styrofoam and packing material between the two boxes. Wow! I highly recommend them. They sell antiques that are in excellent condition, their prices are very reasonable for such high quality items and they provide the best service. Thank you again! Myra

Parkcliffe Alzheimer's Community
Wonderful caring personnel - patient and kind - truly well versed in caring for folks with dementia. My father has been there for only four days - initially was agitated and attempting to leave - is now calm, conversing with staff and other residents, eating well, taking medications with no problem, and using prosthetic leg with little to no assistance. We had worried that he would either become withdrawn, or physically aggressive - no sign of either.

Lighthouse Landing Art Antique & Craft Mall
A great shopping experience for everyone seeking out treasures both new and used. It's the busiest and cleanest shopping Mall I have had the pleasure of frequenting. Prices on most all items are very good in my opinion. The owners have reached out to the community with open arms. They are a blessing for Point Place. Thanks D and K. Sincerely. Kimmie T.

Leffler's Antiques
I would not have believed what was in store for me until my wife and I walked into Leffler's. Everywhere that you look there is something beautiful. Museum quality art glass, oil paintings, mid century furniture. We found a beautiful chandelier for our foyer! We will be back.

Sukit Hookah Lounge & Gift Shop
Sukit Hookah is a great lounge with an incredible atmosphere and staff. Their new location is a testament to their success and it seems like every day they have something new in the way of selection, entertainment, or just plain news. I highly recommend.
