Mow Muscle Tree Service
Update... on Monday (Nov 14th) the business owner contacted me and apoligized for what happened and for his worker not paying attention. He offered to pay to fix the damage but my wife and I had already spent 5 hours cleaning, the deck and drains, placing stain treatment in the pool and scrubbing the lounge chairs. The chairs are still stained but we hope with a few more hours of bleaching and scrubbing, we can get most of them out. I understand the owner can't be everywhere all the time. I'm happy in the end they took responsibility for the damage they caused. No consideration for damage to nearby area. Stump grinder wood chips went in pool, on pool deck, and were even bouncing off my windows. When I told the worker he just said they can't be held responsible for the chips. A piece of plywood or a tarp near the machine would have stopped it. Had I seen it sooner I would have put something up to stop the chips. The pool cleaner got clogged, pool deck drains filled up and because the wood chips were wet with sap they stained the bottom of the pool, the pool deck., and lounge chairs. I called the pool company and they told me what needed to be done and what to use. I told the worker and he said they would be out first thing the next morning with chemicals, but they never showed up. Two phone calls and they still didn't show and no return call. My wife and I spent 5 hours scrubbing the deck and lounge chairs with bleach and water. Most (but not all) of the stains on the deck came up, but the chairs are still stained. I used stain remover for the pool, but there are still some stains that haven't come out yet. This is an in ground pool that is only 6 years old. Save yourself some grief and money, find another company to use.

I have had Kevin save me from so many tree problems, He has come to my aid on three separate occasions, one of which involved the overreaching oak tree branches of a neighbors trees that were raking against the roof of my outbuildings, doesn't matter how large the trees, he has done excellent work for our property for several years.

M B Tree & Lawn Service
The best i have seen in years and they get the job done right the first time
Tips & Advices
Do your due diligence and always ask for proof of insurance and certification before agreeing to any work. You will also want to be on the lookout for telltale signs of scams and be cautious of any company that:
  • Will not provide you with a certificate of their insurance policy or only has general liability coverage
  • Declines to give you a written estimate for the job
  • Gives you bids that either seem very low or very high
  • Contacted you out of the blue to see if you needed their services
  • Has complaints against it from business bureaus in your area
  • Asks for payment before starting work
  • Doesn't have a fixed physical address
Tree service companies are also great places to get your wood if you happen to have a fireplace. Many tree businesses offer free delivery and stacking of hardwoods, such as maple or birch. These can make for the best firewood because they burn slowly and don't produce as much smoke as other types.
If you want to add to the greenery in your yard but you're concerned about the right species to plant or where to put it on your property, seek the advice of an arborist.
If a storm hits and damages your residence, a tree service professional is usually on your list of people to call for help after first responders and your insurer. A professional service can completely remove a tree or just prune and saw off its branches if a storm damages a tree. After sawing or destroying the tree, professionals can then remove any of the dangerous debris from your yard by hauling it off.
Some bugs burrow through the bark and damage hardwood and softwood trees. Depending on the species of trees in your yard and the region of the country you live in, aphids, the infamous emerald ash borer or other pests could destroy your healthy trees.
