Donna Barnes & Friends
I worked for Donna once apon a time for a few years and granted she can be tough, it's an education and an experience you won't find anywhere else. I learned far more in her salon than I did when I attended cosmetology school. It's because of her and what she's taught me that I was able to venture out and do pretty well for myself. I was even able to help other stylists with learning color theory, which I am floored that they don't offer that in school. Learning the science behind color and cutting hair takes the "guess work" out of the equation, which is something that a lot of stylists can struggle with. I would strongly suggest any new stylist looking for a job to consider working here. It's a job that has continuing education on a daily basis and what you learn here will stay with you wherever you venture out to on your own. As for her treating you "like African slaves" those words are beyond harsh and false. She can be tough, but this industry is tough on its own and very competitive. She will prepare you to succeed and you will be grateful for having her in your life at some point. I know I am

This is an old story but it's also the kind of experience and customer service that you never forget. I had been going to this salon since I was a child, my family had been loyal customers for almost two decades. During my senior year of high school I was happy with a cut and dye I had with Donna, she used a brown dye including a "peanut butter" color and went out of her way to offer to write it down for me so I could come back and get that color again. Well, I returned to have that color applied again... In the summer right before I left for college, she dyed my hair black. What's worse, during the haircut she cut my bangs outward past my temples- cutting hair from the side of my head short enough to join my bang line. Anyone familiar with this mistake knows how awful it looks and how long it takes to grow out.Needless to say tears were shed. I was offered no reassurance and charged full price. Oh, I did get Donna's reassurance of saying "color is in my blood" as though she were too expert to make a mistake. One of her other colorists talked to me about the incident outside of work and said that Donna had admitted to adding too much black to the color. I realize some reviews on this site should be taken with a grain of salt, but there is a trend to some of them- reluctance to admit a mistake. That is no way to treat a customer, particularly a loyal customer. Then, after this fiasco, about a year later she started dropping hints to my relative that I should return to this salon (???!!!). After denying anything went wrong after an awful experience, coyly inviting me back a year later? Nope. I think I did return to see a stylist other than Donna for an ok haircut when I was in town and didn't know where to go.Finding a picture of myself from after this awful cut and dye job spurred this review. I will never forget how awful this experience made me feel and how long the botched bangs took to grow back.

Country Club Dental Care
A company of absolute shysters, crooks and charlatans stay far from this crooked practice. I paid over $2,000 for service rendered, I paid cash in full and these swindlers still try to bill me $119.00 and can't explain why. Buyers beware. Shop around Country Club Dental is the worst. The billing department is the source of their corruption. By the way it's under new ownership the previous owner died the staff all left and the new ownership and management is running this company good name into the ground. Again beware of these thieves!

The lady was the rudest person I have ever met and told me to go somewhere else cause I am on state insurance cause I have brain cancer and she don't like dealing with folks on state assistance
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
