I just love eating there. The food is always good, service impeccable and it's open super late. I came there last summer at 11:15 pm and they still seated us and were very nice, not trying to push us out of the restaurant like most other places open late do. I would recommend La Surprise, le Steak au Poivre or la Cote de Boeuf. I never tried any fish there, but I guess it would be a heresy to try one at such a great meat place. The French fries are perfect, crusty and light, and the bread they serve is the closest I found in kosher restaurants to a Parisian baguette. They have an extensive wine list and the desserts are very fine, without being fantastic. A much better deal than Solo.

M&H is a delightful place that reminds me another small intimate place in Berlin. If you have reservation, forget about your stupid blackberry and other fake showoff and enjoy a lovely night with your loved ones. Be open to try new drinks because you will not get any traditional vodka cranberry. Our host was lovely, calm and helpful. I ordered whiskey with fresh blackberries. The drink was flawless from the way it was served ( lowball with crashed iced) to the right amount of each ingredient ( sour sweet but strong enough to be happy at the end of the night). The decor in the place is dark and mysterious and adding the jazz music you feel as part of a scene from a Film Noir. I would not recommend this place to everyone since each drink is $15 and the whole buzz number/reservation can be annoying for some people but it's def one of my favorite place.\r \r

The food here is pretty good, a bit on the pricey side. I really like the falafel! Salads were pretty cool too.
5.Pupa Kosher Butcher

I like their selection and customer service, clean food and very tasty!! Very nice atmosphere overall!
Save yourself the trip to Mendy's. The service was bad despite empty restaurant - servers were unattentive and grouchy. Drinks were flat - Steak was rubbery vegetables were mushy.

Taam Tov, perched two floors above 47th Street, is a darling of the Diamond District and acclaimed by the New York Times as "the best deal on a street where you can end up spending a fortune." It is also highly-ranked as one of the city's top restaurants by The Village Voice and was noted as one of the best and most reasonably-priced eateries by New York Magazine.

The best food in Midtown. I have lunch everyday and each day I get something else. They have a large variety to choose from. The food is made fresh everyday. #1 place for kosher food.

Has the mohza ball soup (Jewish penicillin) and grabbed a triple decker (pastrami, corn beef, salami) and it was delicious. The soup was home style goodness and the sandwich was pretty big, shared these two items and a side of fries among two ppl and we were full.

23.Weiss Kosher Cuisine

For decades now, by far the worst airplane food in the industry. It tastes like it has been repeatedly defrosted over a period of years. No problem with kashrut during Pesach, because it is " not fit for a dog." The owners should be forced to eat this garbage as punishment. I suspect the owners know this, because they ask for feedback, phone number, nope, e-mail. nope, Fax? NOPE. THEY TELL YOU TO MAIL THEM, HA, who are they kidding?

I decided to bring my mother & friend to Talia?s Steakhouse for brunch ? an almost, pre mother?s day party! This is my favorite place Middle Eastern cuisine & great glatt kosher food ? except my friends not Jewish! But Talia?s Steakhouse has it all. Pancakes, waffles, eggs Florentine, omelets & brunch cocktails from bloody marys, mimosas to champagne! They cater to all & aim to please ? and they definitely succeed! Talia?s Steakhouse is a place to go! I cannot say enough how much I love this restaurant! Especially the atmosphere & candle light. Even in the bright of day, this restaurant has a romantic, comforting & relaxing feel. The servers always takes good care of us. So many times we have gone; we have almost had all the servers wait on us. Each & every one of them takes such good care of us & makes us feel right at home! With their attentiveness & hospitality, they go out of their way to make every trip to Talia?s Steakhouse memorable. All the staff is quite diligent & professional. Again, we love this restaurant!!!!

27.Fine & Schapiro
138 W 72nd St
Kosher RestaurantsDelicatessensTake Out RestaurantsBreakfast, Brunch & Lunch Restaurants
This is an authentic old school neighborhood kosher deli dating back about 80 years, when the Upper West Side was home largely to first generation Jewish people from Eastern Europe. They've lasted that long without being featured in movies and without the benefit of the tourist market for one reason: the food is damn good. While the atmosphere is a bit spartan, it's been renovated recently, the place is clean and the pastrami and such are as good as if not better than any other, more famous or glitzy deli in NYC. If you're on the UWS, there is no other deli that comes close in terms of authenticity and quality. PS While not as famous as the Theater District delis or where Harry met Sally, there is a celebrity connection. Fine & Schapiro is a favorite of some well-known Upper West Siders whose photos you can see behind the counter, and who stop by in person on occasion as well.

If you are looking for a good kosher take out, or eating in this is a good place to do so. Quick service, good food, normal prices, and they are always polite. Try the Chebureki Special, and of course, the kebabs. When ordering French Fryes be careful with the amount of garlic they put.... If you love garlic then it all good, otherwise ask in advance for not giving you any. I buy take out mosty from them about 3-4 times a month. Enjoy!

I've gone here numerous times for dinner. The food is good for fast food kosher. I recently decided to "get out of my routine" and ordered new dishes on the menu, enjoyed them. The service was quite good and I would certainly recommend it.

I was hungry for something that would fill me up and people are always telling me to try the place since I mostly go out for Pizza. Hey I'm a fan of Pizza. I was not impressed when I first walked in to the place, they were getting ready for the lunch crowd. There was one person on line if front of me and they politely asked for me to be patient because they were getting ready. The staff was pleasant and both me and the other customer were served. I chose to take it back to work. I could really smell the food even though it was properly wrapped and after sitting down I got to try it. The portion was decent, then again Kosher food usually is, and the food tasted good. I will certainly try this again soon, but to be honest I'm going for pizza tomorrow.
