Hilltop Dental Care
My wife has had two tooth extractions here and now she is in extreme pain. We have called their emergency line four times now and no one has responded. My suggestion is to stay away from these dentists as they only care about the buck and not the patient.

We're no longer looking for a dentist, we've found ours at Hilltop Dental Care. There's little waiting time, appointments are easy to schedule and we're SO IMPRESSED with the friendliness and professionalism of the dentists and staff. Never thought we'd say that going to the dentist was a pleasant experience, but our minds have certainly been changed. They're great!!

Been a patient here for as long as I remember, and can say 100% truly is a friendly environment. Freshly, I've got my braces taken off but everytime I would go they called me in right on time of my appointment. With a clear smile they would greet me and ask if I've have any complaints. I mean to be honest the first time I went I didn't really like the fact the bed things were clearly open to the other so patients can see each other (orthodotics selection I think it is) but when I laid on it and another patient was and another idk the atmosphere just is peaceful. They play music and like to get to know you a by so you won't feel so uncomfortable. Long story short, I would/am recommending this place.

Staff is very courteous, friendly, & professional. My children have been patients for over 8 years. I'm very pleased with the treatment by both the general dentistry & orthodontics. The kids actually like going to the dentist.

The people here are so nice and helpful . They always let you know what's going on and they let you know what they're going to do to your teeth ahead of time.

The staff at this dental office is wonderful. Dr. Gurman is a professional caring dentist. He even came in on a weekend to help my husband who had a dental problem that needed attention. My family has been coming to this dentist office for over 30 years. We've always had great care, and they are always on time, which hardly ever happens at a medical office! I highly recommend this dental office. You will be glad you found a great dentist and staff you can trust.

I saw Dr. Brink for the first time in December. Since then I have referred my other family members and a couple of friends. Dr. Brink made sure I understood everything and he was friendly and thorough. His staff was pleasant and I loved the hygienist who cleaned my teeth!

Comfort Dental
I was aghast at my visit. I went in and was told I needed a couple of fillings along with my cleaning. The lady who cleaned my teeth gave me shots to numb my cheeks and then proceeded to clean my numb mouth. I thought..."why is a dental assisant giving me shots?". Then, after the dentist drilled my cavities, the dental assisant was asked to filled my fillings. What!!!!! It took an hour, with a block in my mouth and I have so much phlegm in my throat from allergies as it is that I can't swallow normally. Anyway, the dental assisant did a whack job at filling my fillings. I had to go to another dentist and was told that the dentist drilled the wrong teeth. I had two cavities that I had to have filled somewhere else. There are two different dentists here. The guy who has a degree from Las Vegas must have won it at the casino. Run far away from here. The worst dentist experience in my life.

This dentist accepts medicaid, however they treat their medicaid patients as less than human. Expect long wait times, 4 to 6 weeks in between appts, unprofessional dentists, and their lack of empathy for difficult dental work. If they feel it is too difficult to fix your teeth; they would rather recommend extracting them. I have never heard anything like this from a dentist that was covered by regular insurance.
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
