Iguanas Ranas Cantina
Poor service, menu needs improvements. Waitresses loud fighting(a yelling waitress named Yolanda, I think) made dining an uncomfortable experience. Very rude. I asked to switch to another. Food is expensive and not so great. I may go again if I'm desperate but won't hold my breath.

Taqueria Los Primos
I am new to the area and was calling to get information about what time your hours of operation were for the weekend. Person that answered the phone was extremely rude. They kept me on hold for a while just to tell me that I could get all the info from the website... I've never eaten here but still wanted to check it out. I called again on another occasion. This time person that answered (I believe was the same person as before.) Again was rude. When they answered the phone instead of stating restaurant name they answered by saying " Yeah?" , After this second encounter I've decided not to even give this place a chance. If your phone ethics are going to be this way I could just imagine what the service would be like.... Thanks, but no thanks. I'll keep looking.

Food Rite Market
This is the only full service grocery store in this area if LA Marque w/o going to Kroger or Walmart. I went in to puck up a Western Union money transfer and a few grocery items and was told I had to wait until the manager returned from her lunch break. She could not help me and no one else was working courtesy booth. I was asked to wait 30 minutes while the manager prayed. I am supportive if Religious Freedom but when a person is in charge of a busy grocery store then arrangements should be made to cover work areas if an employee especially a manager wishes to pray. Store services shouldn't be shut down completely

Taqueria El Jaliciense
This place is filthy. I don't care what the food or service is like. Those that love the place must be OK with roaches crawling around them and being served live roaches in their drinks.

Nopalera Grill
Ordered the Chimichanga and the chicken meat was not seasoned and was cut into thin slices which were dried out like leather. When I checked out one of the owners asked how the food was and when I told him he said that is because it was fried! He did not offer an apology or anything else, just excuses. I will not eat there again. I would give them zero or less stars if I could.

Taqueria El Jaliciense
Food is good but if you expect chips to come with your to-go order---forget it! You can BUY a bag for $1.50---or do what I will do next time. I will go in and place my order, wait & get chips with my meal, them put everything in a to-go container and go home. It's just unreal that you don't get a FEW chips with your meal. I don't WANT a whole bag---and I will NOT pay extra for a few chips!
El Milagro Taqueria

Los Aztecas Bar & Grill
Excellent service and the best Mexican food I have had a very long time!! Eat at Los Aztecas whenever you are in Texas City! We are planning to come back to town just to eat at this restaurant. The food was still steaming when the waiter brought it out --stayed nice and warm throughout meal --great!! Generous portions, tasty, satisfying meal! Attentive serving staff was terrific too!

Just a moment...
