Brady Plumbing
I had an emergency plumbing issue and I called a few places that friends recommended that fell through so I resorted to searching online. Brady's plumbing was one of the first to come up but I called them first because of their 24 hour service. From the time I called to the time I finished and even the follow up call the next day, they were courteous and helpful. The plumber was fast, thorough, and knowledgeable. Pricing was competitive with other services in the area but I will definitely call these guys again because of their work ethic and skills.

Academy Plumbing Co
I've called Academy plumbing on a few occasions and they have been very responsive. Sometimes he's just given me advice on the phone and I appreciate that. Other times, the work may have been out of his scope (perhaps he didn't have a video camera to send down in a pipe) or he's been overbooked, he's always recommended a plumber that he trusts and provided a phone number for me to call. I know Joe personally, but I would wholeheartedly recommend him without reservation to fix all my issues with plumbing.

Spradley Properties
Horrible company. Place not clean on move in, mold and mildew. Want to charge the tenant for reporting maintenance issues. Quarterly inspections huge breach of privacy, they come in and take pictures of everything and charge you if you want to make an appointment to be there when a stranger enters your home and photographs everything! Homes need routine maintenance badly.

Prince Plumbing & Mechanical
Great experience. Very professional people. We had water under the tiles in the kitchen and could not find the source. They cut a hole in the dry wall but did not see any leakage. Finally found the leakage in the refrigerator. The guy was feeling so bad about cutting the drywall that he did not charge us anything. I plan to use their service in future if ever needed.

Payne & Family Roof Repair
They were well coordinated, professional, and paid attention to the details. We're very pleased to finally be using solar so that we can generate emissions-free electricity -- while lowering our utility bills. Having our rooftop serve as a small power plant makes good sense from both an environmental and economic standpoint.

Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
