Change of management has not done Razors Auto Repair any favors. Took my car in because it was running ruff and there were also need two small items (hoses) that needed to be replaced. First each of the two smaller items was charged a full hour’s labor each for their replacement ($140) plus parts. Yes, if I had come in for just the one item I would have expected the full hour labor but part of a larger job, usually not. Then after almost two weeks (most just sitting there because the one and only person that could do diagnostic work was out for one reason of the other) when the car was “ready”, picked it up to paid a very large bill ($1000++), the car would only start after several tries and then still running ruff. They spent a few minutes on it, sent us on our way. We made it less than a ¼ of a mile before it was running as ruff as when we took it in; now told must be an oil problem. We told them NO! This morning told they must have installed “bad wires”. Still don’t know if the car will run correctly. As a side note they claim to have had problems diagnosing the problem; this car has a self diagnostic system, with two modes and would have self diagnosed the problem for which they charged us so dearly after about 20 minutes, maybe an hour to run both modes.

Yellowpages.com asked to tell how the business could have made the experience better; well if they did not have the experience, equipment, or employees with the knowledge to do the job admit it. Just say this is something we can not do; may be able to help you. "XYZ Auto Repair" Sorry.

Im new in tarpon springs and my 2000 Buick Century broke down at the k-mart on u.s.19 and tarpon ave. I was new in the area didn't know who to trust and than I saw there sign. I walked over there and meet the store manager, Greg, who was polite and him and the mechanic, named Greg also, got my car into the shop. Within 20 min, the mechanic had my car diagnosed and we were able to have the required repairs done and they got me going quickly.

Being able to take my vehicle one place from oil changes, tires, and full mechanical. Razors is my one stop to my car.

    Sincerely,

    Henry Kome
