CBM Services Group Inc
If you wanna work somewhere you are treated like trash come to CBM. Tampa branch manager is Shane Oaks. He's pushing about 450 pounds of lard in charge. He was in the army as a radio operator but will tell you how he was special forces, routinely bragging about how many kills he has or why he's a badass. (He's not) Shane previously worked for arrow security where he wasn't allowed to work the armed contract at chuck e cheese because store management found him to be too creepy around the kids. Shanes 2 best friends Steve and Nick are also supervisors at this company this means that if you, Shane, Nick, and Steve are working an event together you will be the only one doing any work. But it gets better, Nick a 27 year old army vet who only managed 1 year in the military (does that include basic training?) Before he was removed for being psychotic, he was also kicked out of the police academy for the same reason. He believes he Is a trained ninja special forces operator. Are you seeing the theme here? If you are looking for a security company to hire or work for, I'd look elsewhere. These guys are the wannabe mall ninjas of the security world. Their uniforms don't match, they take every situation and blow it up, they have no sense of verbal judo or basic communication skills. Officer safety is a joke to them, they'd routinely send officers alone to handle disturbances or fights in progress. They also stay after their shifts end and hang out and drink beers in uniform while carrying firearms.

Matt's Plumbing Services
Our experience with Matt's Plumbing was awful. He is the contractor for American Home Shield and we do understand that relationship... repair first, replace as a last resort. Matt responded to a no-hot water call. He replaced the heating element, but later that day our tank burst. Matt would not accept our call to come back out; we had to call AHS first, which I get, but given the circumstances, I had hoped that he would at least get us onto his schedule, while we contacted AHS. Nope. So another day went by until Matt could get there. This time he replaced the pressure regulator; aaannnnddd within 12 hours, the pressure regulator exploded and our garage was flooded and full of smoke (turned out to be steam). Matt's non-comprehensive repair to avoid replacement caused more damage than just the hotwater tank; the water damaged our brand new dryer for sure... not sure yet if we can salvage the washer. I called Matt's office asking for the work order for the second visit, since he didn't leave one, and they have yet to send it to me. I will be taking Matt's Plumbing to small claims court. We eventually went with another plumber to replace the water heater, insurance be damned... we couldn't take a chance on having this incompetent back in our home.

Northwest Plumbing
horrible company and customer service. They were the plumber for HR Horton down in Bradenton, Fl. Have called them several times to fix their horrible work. Now a new warranty item and they refuse to fix the problem. Never use this company for anything!!!

Matt's Plumbing Services
I previously wrote a letter saying how unhappy I am with Matt's Plumbing who decided that I should be denied a claim from American Home Shield because I used "excessive force" on my Kohler faucet. AHS Corporate rep just called me and said that she has had many instances where the faucets broke from the bottom on the Kohler appliances and it NOT NOT due to "excessive force." So, you moron, go back to school and try another profession. You ignorant idiot!!!

Matt's Plumbing Services
Matt Plumbing Service just tried to steal $650 out of our pockets and American Homeshield condoned it!!! Both companies are shams!!! We have been faithfully been paying American Homeshield $50 or so dollars a month for years and when our hot water tank breaks, American Homeshield agrees to pay Matt Plumbing $300 while I am supposed to pay $650!!! Unbelievable the scam!!! Do not do business with either and spread the word and report both of them!!!

All American Gas Services
This company is great! I needed to have my gas dryer hooked up when we moved into a new house. All American Gas Services were there on time, the technician was very professional and polite and the price was good to! If you need a Gas company then this is the one to call!
Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
