Kauffman Tire
I don't understand why people are giving high rating for this. Honestly I am not at all happy with their service. Today I went to change engine oil for my Nissan Rogue. I doubt whether they changed oil filter or not and they didn't do any points inspection at all. One more important point, I ordered for full synthetic oil change. In the website & office they put Valvoline 5 ltr image. But they bring the oil in a waste container & poured. I still doubt whether it new (or) old, normal (or) synthetic ...very disappointment. This is first time I visited there and this will be my last visit too..

Pien Danh Tire
After talking with a individual at Pien Danh Tire regarding a tire removal and replacement using a tire I owned, I decided to have Pien Danh to perform this service. I dealt with the only individual who was there that day and received first class service at a fair price. Being a satisfied customer I took another car I owned for a suspected rim leak which I was told was probably just in need of a wheel cleaning and bead sealant. Upon arrival there were 3 additional employees there that day, one of them I suspect was the owner who skirted me away from the person who had created the trust that brought me back, and two others who also were part of the scam.. What happened next was a quote of $10 becoming $25 after the owner? chose to charge a extra $15 on top of the of the original quote. I challenged the owner? about the changed quote who suggested that after he ran my card, all would be good. No such luck.. I was not going to make a scene over this minor ripoff, but as fate would have it a person standing behind me was also quoted $10 for the same repair. He quickly decided to go elsewhere. I am not talking big money here , but what we are talking about is a dishonest operation who takes advantage of people by lying, PERIOD!!. If this is the type of service you are looking for, then this is the place for you.

The Tire Choice
I can't thank Chris and Matthew enough for going over and above for me today. First of all I called and had the most pleasant customer service from Chris. I explained my situation that I recently had some work done elsewhere and that I had been experiencing some very intense scraping and grinding noises since my repair. He told me confidently that he could get me taken care of and that he could get me right in. When I arrived Matthew proceeded to show me what was done incorrectly with the previous repair that was done elsewhere (which was very evident once he showed me). He broke everything down to me very clearly and we agreed on moving forward with the repair. While in the waiting room there were several times that someone came through and checked on me and communicated where they were at in the repair process. The manager even sat beside me and went over and above any customer service that I have ever received in an automotive shop. I would highly recommend this Total Care Tire shop to anyone. They will make sure to address your concerns and treat you fairly. I left today feeling very confident that the next time I need anything repaired on my vehicles that I now have a place I can trust will take care of me.

Direct Tire & Auto Service
Tom is someone of highest integrity and character. This is a place you can trust with your car for honest feedback & assessment. I moved to Tampa three years ago & was fortunate enough to have found Tom from the start. When I would price compare labor and parts , this company was hands down always the most affordable and they do quality work. The knowledge of car mechanics this office has is vast and they are not greedy but truly care about the safety of their customers! Highly recommended!!!

Rim Masters, Rim Repair, Auto Body Mechanic & Paint
Took my 20" rim to get repaired after a huge chunk broke off from a pot hole, Mike was very professional and gave me a great deal on the repair and a new tire and I was very pleased, Came back a week later bought 4 tires at a great price and they were done installing them in a very timely manner. I will be going back soon to get some more work done on my car and I would definitely recomend this shop its the only one I will go to!

Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.

Just a moment...
