Alti's Painting & Remodeling
It was nice to find a contractor that that not only cared about doing a great job but recognized that my time is important. As I am always short on time between work and the family I needed to find a company that would give me a set time to be at my home and actually show up at that time. They gave me an exact time, not a four hour window, and that is the time they arrived. Then when they came to my house they were courteous, clean and they did an excellent job. After getting the exterior of my home painted my house now looks more modern, eye catching and beautiful. Thank you Eduard and the team at Alti's Painting for doing such an amazing job. I will definately call you again for my next project.Jill

Called them to repair multiple holes in my drywall. I was nervous because the holes were in a highly visible area and wanted the texture to match. After a more than reasonable price quote for the project, the holes were repaired. The level to which the texture was matched and blended surpassed all expectations! Furthermore, javier, who performed the work, was a very kind and knowledgeable gentleman. I will call them again in the future for other work in my home.

Mark's Painting
We used Marks Painting to paint the entire interior of our new home and we were very impressed! He and his crew were polite and hard working. When they were finished it looked like a brand new house. I was especially impressed with our baby's nursery, I explained what I wanted and it turned out perfect! I have already recommended him to several friends who were equally impressed. Thanks Mark!

We had some cabinetry repairs done by the jch maintenance services. The craftsman did a terrific job with some very difficult woodwork cuts involved. The materials were high quality, he was on time, and very professional. The amount paid was actually a little less than the quote and ended up being much less than I expected. I have already scheduled another job and overall was very impressed.

The work that Elite Painting performed was done in a very professional manner. They showed up on time and completed the service when they said that he would. I was extremely pleased with their work and would recommend them to anyone.

Tips & Advices
For a long-lasting paint job, a clean wall is crucial. Ask how they plan to clean your walls, if at all, before getting started. A high-quality company will thoroughly prepare a wall so that the paint will lay smoothly and last a long time.
Yes. A well-established company will have more experience and likely more references for you to reach out to than a new company that's just getting off the ground. Be sure to ask for references so you can speak to former customers about their experience working with the painter. When speaking to these people, ask about:
  • Whether they had issues with the crew
  • If the painters were messy or neat
  • How the paint has held up since the project was completed
The quality of the paint will affect how good the walls look when the project is completed. If your contractor says they plan on using a paint you don't like, feel free to request an alternative.
If the contractor makes a point to train new hires on safety techniques as well as quality standards on the job, you're probably in good hands.
Unfortunately, there are plenty of cases where a painter has stolen items from a home or caused damage to the house or injury to the homeowner. Subcontractors may not be as skilled as employees, and the contractor you're hiring may not have much experience working with them, making them more of a risk. Additionally, ask if the painters are employees or subcontractors, and what the screening or hiring process is like.
