Spine Diagnostics & Interventional Center
Dr Flynn is a true life-saver for me. A fall left me crippled by low-back pain. For 10 yrs no doctor could see the cause of my pain, but HE saw the 2 disc bulges in my lumbar spine. He carefully explained my options & recommended Transforaminal Endoscopic Discectomy (TED). Incisions were minimal & results are wonderful--no more walker, only occasional cane, depression gone. Staff are all very kind, helpful & professional. Lobby, exam rooms & surgery suites are immaculate. I highly recommend him!

Tampa Bay Womens Care
Dr. Bray is god sent, I appreciate all that she has done for me and my family. Front desk/check in employee was extremely rude and condesending, she should not be in the medical field or around patients. To describe her she was from Hindu descent, and very insensitive.

Franks Wellness Clinic
I have been seeing Dr. Frank for several years now. I have seen him at his Tampa office and he has seen me in the hospital. Dr. Frank is a doctor who have a great bed side and also unlike most doctors he listens . Dr. Frank cares about his patients and he will spend the time needed to address your issues. Sometimes this get him into running appointments behind. Some of the patients get upset but I remind them that we are not a assembly line. Also doc will not cut you short when you are being seen. very caring doctor that hears you. I have seen Doctor Franks for Primary Care and also Pain management. I will tell you Dr. Frank will blow you away with his knowledge. if you want the best then I say see Dr. Frank and be patient. The Staff also is a complete team. DR frank is a 5+ Doctor. You will be pleased.

Pain & Wellness Institute
Does not listen to his patients. Does not answer questions or take the time to listen to questions. If you have a problem with a prescription such as the office forgets to print out a prescription that is part of your monthly treatment he gets mad at the patient for bringing it up. Then out of spite he will change the script to something totally different. Stay away if you can I think he is bi-polar.

This mans daughter had the brass balls to write an op-ed going after other clinics when her father never accepted any Insurance, cash only, had no treatment options other than opiates and his clients were all from Kentucky in 2006-2007 when I went to him.The Pharmacy,Kays, should be investigated every bit as much as Vanderxcar, because they were basically dealing drugs together....period.Vandercar gets all these great notices from his drug addled clients.O f course they love him.he was their f---ing drug dealer.

Tampa Family Health Centers
I have been with Tampa Family Health Center for 3 years now and it took them 3 years to diagnose me with IBS and Moderate Gerd.. It takes forever to get a referral and then another month just to make the appointment. Then when they send you to i.e. a orthopedic specialist with an old injury for a simple cortisone shot-they say they wont see me because its not BROKEN. Yet its my rt arm and I can not use it properly. have come to realize that unless I really need a doctor to just not go -- I get more stressed than anything! Then labs show I have something serious but the doctor says im fine But no second opinion. My belief is that Ill die of cancer before the clinic even gets me to any type of specialist to help me. I give them One star. :(

Tampa Pain Clinic
Yes, Dr,VanDeCar was/ is a wonderful physician,he literally gave my husband his life back by only having to take a few pills a day. Unfortunately, he retired and the new Md is a quack! My husband saw him yesterday and was got down 2/3 of his usual dose! This is certain to throw him into withdrawl and our life into hell! I am scared and pissed but must remain strong to focus on getting us through this. If it was 2 months ago I would recommend this Md, but not anymore.
Tips & Advices
Several forms of pain management exist that are not approved typically treated by physicians or covered by health insurance plans. These include therapies like acupuncture, for example, or herbal preparations sold in stores. Before beginning any form of treatment or medication not approved by a doctor, it’s a good idea to still reach out to a physician or expert in alternative medicine for advice, or conduct some research online first.
Managing pain in children can be complicated, as kids may have more difficulty communicating their pain to doctors. Children also need to be more carefully monitored when taking most medications.
Health insurance might cover a selection of approved pain management therapies. Every insurance plan is different, so patients should check with their provider to make sure.
Patients might be instructed to continue therapy at home, either through regular exercise or specific treatment. Some people also find that getting frequent rest, taking warm baths or avoiding certain foods, for example, can help manage pain.
Side effects depend on the exact drugs and dosages used, as well as the disease being treated and many other factors. Some pain-relieving drugs, especially opioids, are known to cause drowsiness. Many antidepressants also cause a variety of adverse effects. Doctors must work closely with patients to minimize these side effects in the course of treatment.
