We have been residents of Tampa for a long time and tried sushi all over the Bay Area. This gem on Hillsborough and Himes (next to TGI Fridays) is quite tasty. The service is great, but the sushi is t

Terrible service and waitress added a $55 dollar tip to my credit card after I signed my receipt. I saw the charge on my statement and reported them for doing this. Beware check your credit card bill.

My first time here and I was very impressed. Easily understood menu. Nice clean restaurant.I was impressed that the person at the register could give me a quick explanation of some menu items I did not know.I tried Rice Vermicelli with Marinated shrimps, fried spring roll and charboiled pork. Very delicious and good looking!Check it out. You will be happy that you did.

Chef Thai & Sushi Restaurant
Bad food, even worse service. Will never return. We just left this place and it was a terrible experience. The waiter was awful, he didn't even take our drink order until we ordered our food. He brought one dish out quite a while before the other. The pad Thai was the worst I have ever had. It was slimy and had a fishy aftertaste. I took one bite and sat it on the edge of the table waiting for the server to come back so I could send it back for something else. He never came back to check on us. We shared my husbands dish instead. So when he finally returned I said I didn't like the pad Thai and he took it without saying a word. I assumed he would remove it from the bill. He didn't. When I asked him to remove it, he said I can't remove it because you ate it. WHAT?! I took ONE bite. Ridiculous. Terrible food and even worse service. Oh, and not to mention the dried food stuck to my drink cup which I just let go. STAY AWAY!

I Ai Sushi
I decided to stop in the Ai Sushi for lunch while I was in Tampa this past week. The food was awesome but could not get past the atmosphere that was dirty and had signs everywhere with rules to follow. It was not exactly what I was expecting for the neighborhood it is located.

I Ai Sushi
Horrible, slow service. Server gave us a small jug of water to fill ourselves. Food took 30+ minutes to come. Food was not good. Will not be back.

How disappointing! My 12 year old daughter chose Arigato on North Dale Mabry for her birthday dinner. We arrived with 10 family members, gifts, cupcakes and a birthday girl banner. They told us about the birthday special ($20 off dinner for the birthday person). Then the manager proceeded to ask if we had ID for my daughter to prove it was her birthday - seriously!? We told him she was 12 and didn't have ID. He said they would not be able to honor the birthday special - then wished her a happy birthday!! After spending over $300 on dinner - the manager still refused. Needles to say, we won't be returning to this location. By the way - when we made the reservation and told them it was for a birthday, we were never told to bring ID for a child!

Omg, if you have an hour and a half you might still want to stay away from this place.. The service does not deserve to be called service, rude and slow. We live close so I have been there a few times and every time I say Never again.. But the last straw was a call in order. Ordered 4 orders of sushi, they said 15 min,, ok I finished waiting two and a half men, then headed to Walgreens before going to Yoshi .. When I got there, nearly 30 min after I placed the order, I walked in and stood by the cash register for about 5 min as people walked paced never even acknowledged me.. So I accidentally dropped a picture off the desk and suddenly ,will be right with you,,, I sat and waited 10 more minutes, and there were only 6 other people in the placeFriday night,, and they were all on one table.. Finally I'm handed a bag,, but only 3 orders were in it,, then she tells me a few more min it will be right up..5 minutes later the last order is handed to me. The only reason I waited was to bring my son some sushi as a reward for two A's he got in school.. The sushi is average at best the prices are as much as sushi alive, and the service is terrable terrable, I have not been back since, and I will never step foot in there again

Just a moment...
