Fast, nice attention, quick results, for me the best is that you don't need Dr order, good phlebotomy technique. Clean draw station, open in time.

AvantGarde Urgent Care
I had not t been feeling so well for about 4 days. Decided to go to AvantGarde urgent care facility in Tampa. Came in on a Sunday 11/20/2016 morning. Two people (Marco and Sabrina) were working and were very nice. The place was very clean, organized, smelled good, welcoming but not super cold as a doctor's office usually is. The friendly staff got me in maybe 5 mins after I filled out the paperwork. Once I was in the patient room, Dr. Malczak saw me. Nice guy. He met with me for about 20 mins discussing my symptoms and what I possibly have. Very knowledgeable and understood what I was going through. Overall, experience was great at this facility and I would recommend it to family and loved ones any time they need to see a doctor without an appointment. Thank you for recommending them!

Allergy Asthma & Immunology Associates
I have been going to Dr. Dominguez for about 15 years. The office is staff treats me in a kind and professional manner. I have a lot of respect for Dr. Dominguez. He has gone out of his way to help me with medicine samples and to see me when needed. Dr. Dominguez is a kind and generous person. The nurses are gentle when giving shots. I highly recommend this office.

Tampa Community Hospital Emergency Care
They charge extremely high prices. The hospital billed me $3K and the doctor billed me an additional $2K for a medical service that Fair Health Consumer states should cost $700 max with just $250 out of pocket. I wrote the hospital to negotiate and they declined to reduce the bill. They also neglected to answer what Department Level 1 Service meant. They charged for for both Department Level 1 and 2.

AvantGarde Urgent Care
I am that this place exists cannot be expressed in words...but hey, I'll try.Great hours! They were open late when no where else was open! I also got in and out super quickly! The last thing you want when you're sick is to sit in a doctors office for hours. I was in and out with a prescription in about twenty minutes. The nurses were so sweet and the doctor was knowledgeable and understanding. I actually really trust the staff of this urgent care- something I can't say for all urgent cares. They diagnose you correctly and quickly.

AvantGarde Urgent Care
From the time I arrived until my departure, I was treated exceptionally well by the staff there. The admissions process was very easy, and I was taken to an examination room within five minutes of my arrival there. I was initially screened by a nurse, then thoroughly examined by a doctor approximately ten minutes later. A few minutes later, I was taken into an X-ray room to have my injured wrist X-rayed (the X-ray technician was very friendly and professional). The doctor and a medical assistant then carefully put my wrist and lower arm into a fiberglass cast to immobilize the fracture. The doctor then made a referral to an orthopedic specialist for further care. Based upon this visit, I am quite impressed with the quality of care provided at this facility.

Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
