Chet's Termite & Pest Management, Inc.
I have been using Chet's since I moved into my house in 2011, having "inherited" them from the previous owner. In all the time I have been living here Eduardo has been here every two months for regular treament and anytime I have had a problem with pests and requested additional service, he has shown up promptly within a couple of days to re-treat my home. The work has always been done quickly, efficiently and many times I don't even know he's been here until he is leaving.

We used these guys in Pinellas County a few years ago and were very happy, so when we moved to Tampa we called them and luckily they also serve the entire Tampa Bay area. Always on time and very clean and professional. Our quarterly outside pest program seems to work great AND if we ever did have an issue on the inside they are on it right away and at no additional charge. I would highly recommend this company.

We have been using Chet's Pest control for two years to control carpenter ants. Our yard is a jungle and while we love the lush foliage, so do the ants. Andrew Munoz is our tech. He shows up on time, listens to what we have observed, and most importantly treats the bugs. We have recommended Chet's and Andrew to our neighbors.

Have been using Chet's Pest Control for several years now. My original problem was ghost ants travelling from one end of the house to the other. Thanks to Frank and Chet's the ants are no longer an issue. He is always prompt for each visit and can be relied on to solve my pest control concerns.

Tri-S Pest Control Service
After getting several opinions from some of the largest pest control companies in the business, it was so refreshing to get a detailed inspection and expert advice from this company. The Manager, Shawn Davis, was the best professional that we have encountered. We recommend TRI-S very highly!

I cancelled service with Massey because they didn't return my calls and my lawn looked terrible. When I had a technician from ABC give me an estimate I was told I had grubs- (WHICH MASSEY NEVER MENTIONED). If I didn't have ABC come out when they did, my lawn could've been DESTROYED. Thanks ABC!

Amazing! My lawn was getting demolished by some sort of gross creatures. A friend suggested LawnBear/Pestbear and I am glad I called. They cleared up the problem within 3 months. My lawn is now green and lush and glorious again. Thanks a million Pestbear!

Previous to having Chet's Pest control, I was seeing roaches every other day. Since Danny Gibble came and applied treatment to my home I've seen close to none. I'm very, very impressed with the service. I thought I was going to be overrun by these pests!!

Always does a great job. If the bugs come back, he will too. We've had the normal ant and roaches, but we also him a big flea problem inside an out that he eliminated. We live in South Pinellas and he always makes the drive when we need him to.

Tips & Advices
Fumigation is dangerous to pets and humans. Liquid termicides, however, are safe to use around pets.
No. Because termite infestations are considered preventable, most home insurance policies do not cover treatments or damage.
It's best to treat an entire home to ensure the termite infestation is completely eliminated. Spot treating costs less, but increases the likelihood of missed colonies. In addition, spot treatments can make a home unattractive to future buyers.
The cost to eliminate termites varies depending on the method. Bait costs between $150-$300, while fumigation costs $1,300-$2,500. Heat treatment costs around $1 per square foot, so a 2,500 square-foot home would cost $2,500.
The length of time depends on the process used:
  • Fumigation takes approximately five days. The termites die quickly, but homeowners must remain out of the house until the chemicals clear.
  • Bait exterminations can take months to destroy an entire colony. The bait kills termites during the molting process. If an insect eats the bait and does not molt, it is unaffected.
  • Heat extermination takes approximately eight hours and is environmentally friendly. This process heats the home to 150 degrees F.
