Akwaaba African Hair Braiding
Wow!!! It's all I can say. I decided to get my Micros put back in, but coming from Atlanta I am very choosey about who I allow to do my hair. So for a week I was researching online braid shops. I had made an appt. with someone else when I came across Akwaaba reviews. The reviews were so outstanding I couldn't believe them at first. I then started researching the shop for reviews everywhere and to my surprise I found a lot of them but NOT one of them was negative. I immediately cancelled my appt at the other shop and called Ms. Cynthia and told her I needed her to do my hair. She was very flexible and was able to get me in when I needed and even changed to come an hour earlier when I called her that day. Needless to say all the reviews were right on point. My hair is beautiful and I am continuously getting compliments EVERYWHERE I go. I have found my a new braid shop!!!! She is very humble, sweet and professional....Thanks again Ms. Cynthia!!!!

Akwaaba African Hair Braiding
I recently visited Akwaaba to get some Senegalese Twist done by Cynthia and she did a phenomenal job. This is only my second time getting this hair style done and from my first experience, I was kind of skeptical about getting them done again. The first time I got the done at a different shop and I paid the same price at Akwaaba that I did there and I could honestly say that I didn't get my money's worth. Cynthia put her heart into making sure my head was done PERFECTLY & I did not mind sitting at Akwaaba's all day to get my hair done. Cynthia to me straight up that money is hair to come by and she will make sure that I get my money's worth, and she kept her work. I tipped her extra as well because I let her chair looking like a Queen and I've received plenty of comments on my hair style and I recommended her to everyone who asked. Cynthia is on FIREE!!!!

Tetee African Hair Braiding
Hi my name is Regina Smith and yesterday I had my hair done at Tetee's. Being an out of towner I didn't know where to go, so I checked out a few shops. Their prices for a basic hairstyle was outrageous! I was about to give up when I stopped by Tetee's.She was fantastic! Her shop was clean, she took walk in's, her work was EXCELLENT and FAST! Her coworker Gertrude worked with precision on my hair. And best of all, she DIDN'T overcharge me! If you're ever in Tampa, go to Tetee's! You won't regret it!

Hair Therapy For Women
I just read "CW" post from March and am actually shocked- the statements about the owner Bobbi and anything relating to the salon is plain false. I have been a client on and off for 16 years (had moved for a bit). This salon and the entire team have transformed my hair literally to the best it's ever been! Please know I am a discerning business woman, wife & mother and I would not go anywhere else! Worth every penny and more! Thank you Bobbi and Hair Therapy for Women staff!

Akwaaba African Hair Braiding
Ms Cynthiia is awesome!!! She is great at what she does. I've been going to her for 9yrs and will not let anyone else do my hair. She is polite, helpful and professional. She is also very helpful in choosing what is appropriate for you. I would recommend anyone that needs a professional hairbraider to go to her. Her shop is very comfortable to be in. She is the best in town. I drive all the way across the bridge from seminole to go to her just because she is awesome.

V.I.P African hair Braiding Gallery
It's all about the Benjamin's with this shop. I had so much hair I could not make a pony tail. The owners response was you can keep it in a bun. Who pays $150 to wear a bun for 2mths. Bus card says satisfaction guaranteed. Lies. I requested to have less hair used in the beginning. Once she was paid, what ever I said didn't matter. It's unfortunate because it's the return customer that carries the business. I will not return..,,I will be finding a new shop.

Hair Therapy For Women
You can tell the minute that you walk in the door that the people that work here are truly here to help you be the most beautiful you. I was nervous when I first came here because I was afraid that I would be judged for being "vain." The staff here know how to make you feel comfortable with yourself and the decisons you make regarding your hair. The quality of the care is outstanding and has made me feel beautiful and confident. I would not go anywhere else.

Jai's African Hair Braiding
Totally worth the time!!! I love this place. For couple of years now I have been doing my hair at Jai's African Hair Braiding, they are very reliable and fast. The place is clean, the people are very nice and friendly. I drive for more than 30 minutes just to get my hair done from here. The best part is, the braids last long all the time. Schedulling appointment is very easy. They are always willing to take people. I would definitely recommend this place..!!
