Progressive Insurance
While I do believe that they did their jobs, I heard many of the staff members discussing the clients waiting in the lobby while I was waiting in the lobby with them. It was extremely unprofessional and very rude. By the time I walked out of there I just wanted to get my estimate and leave,

Infinity Insurance Solutions
Infinity Insurance Company / main corporate office from Birmingham, AL “DO NOT” purchase any insurance policy from Infinity insurance, Infinity are crooks with bad customer services Don’t even beginning to get a quote from Infinity insurance company. There premiums are higher than others. I had a bad experience with them learned my lesson. Take time and do some homework go to the customer review first before buying anything. Worst insurance I ever had. My policy was canceled without notifying me of the cancellation. I made a payment on line on 08/01/2012 in the amount of $331.00 the schedule amount that I was posted for me to pay. The policy was canceled as of 07/13/2012 but, yet my $331.00 payment was accepted by Infinity. If my policy was cancelled as of 07/13/2012 why was my payment accepted on 08/01/2012. At this time I am I requesting for the $331.00 to be refunded back to me along with all the payments made on the policy which it was over a period of one year of premium paid. I called Infinity Insurance once I learned that my insurance had been canceled. I have asked for my money to be refunded but, they have refused to refund me any money they are telling me false information. I wasn’t notified by Infinity insurance company or my agency regarding the cancellation. I learned of the cancellation by my auto lease company which I received a notification from the leasing company on 09/01/2012 made a payment online on 08/01/2012 and the insurance was cancelled on 07/13/2012. So for more than one month I was driving without auto insurance, like I told them what if I would have been involved in an auto accident who would have taken responsibility for the damages? Infinity or my insurance agent would have not they would have cared less and I would have been screwed. This is a big negligence and unprofessional on both of these companies. Beware, which I found out to late ,Infinity has hidden payment installment and other fees that are never disclosed.

Secured Insurance Service Inc
By far the cheapest rates in town. When I was shopping around for car insurance a few years back, NONE of the insurance companies I called could compete w/ Secured Insurance Services. How do they do it? No clue.As for some people on here stating that Secured Insurance is only good when you haven't been in an accident... I have no comment because I haven't made any claims within the past 2 years. I hope it stays this way... and by writing this I hope nothing happens. *Knocks on wood*
Tips & Advices
Insurance agents will often try to "upsell" on various extra products that may be useful for certain people, but are generally excessive for the average consumer. Stick with basic plans that cover as much as you need without any additional costs. For example, if the annual cost of your auto insurance is 10 percent or more of the total value of your car, drop all but the most essential coverage. This is especially applicable if the car you drive is older and could be replaced with savings. Otherwise, you are paying for insurance that will never actually benefit you in the event of a serious crash.
Yes. Even after you've chosen a plan and started paying into it, consider looking around again when it comes time to renew the policy. Consider using an independent agent when searching for a new insurance policy. While traditional agents can still find a good deal, independent agents can choose from a variety of providers and tailor your coverage to your specific needs. The Internet has also made comparison shopping easy. Potential customers can often get free quotes online very quickly.
Send your insurer a claim form for each beneficiary in the plan, as well as a certified copy of the policyholder's death certificate. With the proper information, life insurance claims are generally straightforward. Problems may arise if the policyholder has died within two years of opening the policy. In this case, an attorney may be needed to settle the claim.
In the case of damage, take pictures of the affected area as soon as any safety or health emergencies are resolved. Take note of what happened and all the relevant circumstances and report to your insurer as soon as possible. If any of your possessions were damaged, use an inventory of your important assets and make note of this in the claim. Once an adjuster has made their own report, review it for accuracy.
If you're involved in an accident, you need to call the police right away and have them document the situation. You can file a claim upon obtaining the police report. It's also a good idea, if possible, to take your own notes to record: what happened before the accident, the date and time, traffic signs in the area and road conditions. Also get the other driver's name, address, license plate number, and insurance information. Even photos taken with a cell phone camera can help the claims process. Once you have this documentation, call your insurance company right away.
