Do not use this lawn service. I paid $600 to get rid of the weeds, destroy the Virginia Creeper and another vine on my fence, and destroy the elephant ears. When they all came back, I called once, emailed once, and the owner had called me to say they could no longer mow my lawn and I told him again! They ended the contract because they didn't have other jobs in my area. I have emailed another two times with photos of the plants that not only weren't destroyed but have come back even bigger than ever and requested a refund so that I can pay my new lawn service to do it. It has been over two weeks. In fact, a week after I emailed, they sent me a bill for my last service instead of a check minus that last service.

I needed to get weeding and pine straw done for a large garden area around my house. I called Perfection Lawn Service on a Saturday morning and they came out to my house that afternoon! Within minutes I had a free quote and a plan for my property moving forward. By Tuesday, the pine straw was down and trees were trimmed and it looks so much better already. Mike was very nice, prompt, and professional. I have had a few companies come out to do similar work on my property and I can say their prices are VERY competitive. I am completely confident moving forward and it is one less thing I have to worry about now.

Perfection Lawn Service has been caring for my lawn (3 acres) for almost a year now. They always show up on the day and time agreed upon. The guys on the crew are very respectful, polite and hard working. I have been very impressed with the "eye for detail" and their commitment to excellence shown in their work and to me as a customer. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a great looking lawn. Mike, the owner, is very easy to work with and a true professional is this business.

Perfection Lawn has been maintaining my yard for almost a year now and the work of the company is exceptional. When I first moved into my home, it was overgrown and looked like a jungle in a neighborhood of well manicured homes....basically it stood out like a sore thumb. Perfection came in, told us what they thought would turn this landscaping around went to work turning the house from the sore thumb of the neighborhood to the neighbors asking "who does your lawn?...the place has never looked so good." Thanks Perfection.......

Perfection Lawn Services.I met Mike after he was working on my neighbors yard and he was quick to give me an estimate and to let me know what needed to be done to my lawn and my landscaping in order to not only get it looking right but to also take care of it properly. Mike and his crew were working all Sunday afternoon to clean up the mess I had left them with due to my lack of landscaping knowledge and skills and they did a fantastic job! I can't say enough about how great Mike and his crew are and I posted pics on here to show you what an excellent job they have done for me and my neighbor!I highly recommend him for your lawn care needs as he is not only professional, responsible, dependable and very knowledgeable about the plants that he takes care of but his prices can NOT be beat! Give Mike a call, I'm so glad I did and now my grass and landscaping are too! Thank you Mike (and your crew) for all your hard work!

Mike and his crew are all great! Our previous landscaping company left us with no notice and left our three properties in BAD shape. Mike got in and had the place looking like new within two weeks. Him and his crew do anything extra you ask them for too. Great guys, great service!
Tips & Advices
Employers must conduct all required training in a language and vocabulary that workers can understand. Training must demonstrate the hazards of operating certain machinery, like stone cutters and splitters, as well as how to use them appropriately. It's important to verify that your landscape contractor has taken the necessary steps to fully train its personnel and that the appropriate safety precautions are in place.
Check the specific regulations for your area, and verify that your contractor has the necessary licenses. These may include a state contractor's license, pesticide license, CDL driver's license and license to sell and purchase nursery stock.
Landscape work is not cheap, so it's in your best interest to make sure that it's done to your requirements and that you get the best contractor to do the job. Homeowners should know how much they'll need to pay for the contractor's service as well as how they will be billed for this work. Ask about any design fees, if quoted prices are fixed or estimates, and what the payment process will be. Clarifying these items in the beginning will prevent any surprise expenses.
Yes. Homeowners should require that the contractor submit certificates verifying compliance with safety, insurance, workers' compensation and drug and alcohol testing programs. This will give you peace of mind that the contractor has gone through all the steps under industry regulations.
Yes. Every good contractor should have a list of recently completed jobs that you can see in their portfolio. They should also have a list of references that you can contact, or properties that you can see in person.
