Eloise's Cooking Pot Food Bank
Great experience overall, the people were friendly, respectful, and treated everyone there with equality. Volunteering there was an enjoyable experience, they had fresh produce ready for all of the people and it was very organized. There was never a dull moment and I would volunteer there again.

Bader, Terry
Terribly unprofessional "counselor" , biased, inappropriately opinionated, swayed by social status, easily charmed, scatter-brained. Disrespected my young son and our family terribly. Would give a zero rating if possible.

Plato's Closet
My daughter and I decided to check out plato's closet for the second time to redeem our credit of 21.97 from our first initial visit two months ago...Let me start from the begining...My daughter insisted she check out this plato's closet she heard about from her friends at school. So her dad took her to the store and purchased a few items.. when she got home I realized the shoes she picked out were an entire size too big. So I immediately drove to the store to return the shoes..The owner was there and insisted that they do not give cash refunds , that the only thing he could do for me was to credit me in the store.. I was very grateful for his kindness because I was told they don't normally allow shoes to be returned. So my daughter and I found a few items she liked and we redeemed some of our store credit . After the purchase we were left with 21.97.The employee took my receipt and wrote that amount on the back explaining to me to treat it like cash cause there's no way to replace it if lost. I asked him if they have gift cards or some other way instead of just writing a number on the back of a recipet.. I said , how will another employee know I didn't just write it myself ?? I was very uncomfortable with this but the employee named conner assured me that it would be fine and he added his initials next to the written amount.About two months later "last night ".My daughter and I decided to redeem the rest of our store credit for some school clothes..After we found a pair of pants , a tank top and a shirt we were rung up and I handed the sales clerk the reciept that the previous employee had written my store credit on and initial. She then looked apprehensive and proceeded to the back of the store where I later find out the owner was.Long story shorter...The owner told me I was lying g and I was a thief trying to steal his money..He said that I had already spent my store credit then he switched up and said that they had refunded me cash my first initial visit...He screamed thief in my face and told me to leave.. I told him I'm not going anywhere. Imy not a thrift!!!! You can't just steal people's money, scream at them and kick them out. So he called the police... which was complete fine with me.. i then picked up my recipt off the counter telling him i was ging to show the police . He then physically grabbed my fingers and crushed them forcing me to release the receipt that had the proof on it.All this in front of my little girl !!!She was sooo scared !! Petrified !All she sees is this strange man screaming at her mommy and hurting her..Anywho , police came , told me it was a civil thing and I was forced to leave.I cried the entire night . I cried so hard I was sick to my stomach with a migrain..To have this man physically and intentionally hurt me.. he knew what he was ding. He knew the proof was on that recipe and once I told him I intended on showing the police , that's when grabbed my fingers intentionally crushing them to get that recipe. All I want to know is why ???Why would you hurt me over 21$$I'm in no way a thief. I do not steal from people nor stores. I have money , I'm not dying to steal a pair of used sweats and a shirt from your thrift store..All in all... I was victimized..No man has the right to physically injure or hurt a woman !!!Shame on you !!

Second Chances Thrift Store
The owners of this place went under because karma doesnt like scammers that steal from Veterans. Make note these are the same people that run beast mode towing. If you ever come accross one of these people, thank them for stealing from Veterans.
