Love, love, love Clinton St. Pub. One of my favorite places to hang out. They have great craft beers on tap not to mention amazing drink specials. I ordered a round for myself and 3 friends on Friday and it cost me $7.00, craziness. We always have a good time at Clinton St.

I'm not even a beer drinker, but I love the stuff they have here. Their menu is incredibly varied and everything we've tried in three visits was beautifully done. The service is good, though you have to wait on your own table sometimes. The only time we had an unpleasant time was one night when we were there with our son and someone had a screaming child (NOT a baby--the child was probably four or five!) in the next booth the entire time we were there. With nowhere else to sit, that sort of thing should become the management's problem after twenty minutes by my watch.

Shifty's is a great place to relax, unwind, and listen to some great music on the weekends. Highly recommended if you want a place with no pretentiousness.

ERNIES is one of those places you pass and unless for some would be strange reason you decide to stop in, or perhaps the party you are with has been there before and is able to wrestle you into the front door, you probably wouldnt give it a second look. Well, for some reason, my folks (who just retired to the Syracuse area from Los Angeles, a story in itself meant for another web site) have taken on an adventurous attitude and for some reason ended up at Ernies. When they took me to Ernies, I must admit, I thought they had finally become official members of the rubber cane squad!! I thought perhaps their tastebuds must have suffered irrepairable damage from the cold Upstate winter, and the day was fast approaching when I would have to confiscate their driver licenses.......BOY WAS I WRONG! Although the service is acceptable and the location is a bit rustic (not an intended motif) the food is GREAT, the portions are GREAT and the value is GREAT! This place get packed and you best arrive early to escape the wait. Incidentally, the crowd probably contributes to the state of the service, kind of slow, but polite, professional and very friendly. I had the scallop plate, the largest portion of scallops I have ever been served and they were great, broiled in the good old standby butter and garlic! I also sampled other plates ordered in our party, mainly pasta's and they were all outstanding! Ernies will be one of my regular stop while in Upstate New York. Give it a go, you will be glad you did!

too overly crowded for comfort, bar maid is overly freindly with the male patrons there, not very professional . my opinion.....

St. Patricks Day brings lots of crowds to the Tipperary Hill area. Nibsy's is right in the middle of it all. Constant flow in and out keeps this bar hopping without long lines at the door.

I have NEVER written a review, ever... Last Saturday I went to Al's with a group of friends. I waited at the bar for 20 mins before I was even acknowledged. It was especially frustrating to be ignored by a woman standing behind the bar washing glasses positioned directly in front of us. Geez... We left and spent the evening across the street...

My party of 6 and a 2yr old were seated at 7:30pm on a Monday night for my wife's B-day. We ordered promptly with a friendly waiter BUT our dinners did not arrive until a few minutes before 9pm!!! YES an hour and a half!! Our after dinner plans had to be canceled because it was so late. My portion was small and had to order a desert to keep from leaving hungry. It was SO BAD the waiter gave us the deserts free....so what...the B-day dinner was a bust and not a cheap one. Thanks Justin's Grill for making my wife's B-day a bad memory!! NEVER AGAIN!
