Do they take insurance at all? I need to find a place that takes Medicaid WellCare. And someone who's actually gonna help me & not treat me like a junkie! πŸ™„

Dr AJ and his staff are absolutely amazing and life savers. I've been seeing him for over 2 years now and they have been so helpful in my recovery process. I would definitely recommend Dr. AJ to anyone who is struggling with addiction.

Dr. AJ as he prefers to be called is probably the nicest doctor I have ever seen. He will listen to what you have to say about your health problems and deals with them accordingly. I just started seeing him recently for a chronic pain problem and am very happy with the way he is handling my problem. Although the costs are high, I would recommend him. Randall N.

Doctor sits there all day and writes prescriptions. That's all they do. After a couple of years, their Doctor said I was failing my urine tests all of the sudden. I got into an argument with him and was dismissed from the program. I immediately went to a local lab and had a hair folicle test done. (which is way more accurate than urine) Nothing in there, but what was supposed to be. He had me thinking someone was coming in my house and planting cocaine in my food or somewhere. Anyway, it's just a pill mill. Nothing wrong with that, if it's the only thing that works. Been going to them for 16 yrs. Went down the street and joined another one.

Roger,If, after 8 years, you decide this place is a pill mill as you stated; then what does that make you? I didn't realize that you have X-ray vision and can see that NOTHING is wrong with said patience. I Thank God I found them after being involved in a Major Accident that left me with 44 injuries and a whole lot of pain. My only complaint about them is . . . . . nothing!

Tips & Advices
Several forms of pain management exist that are not approved typically treated by physicians or covered by health insurance plans. These include therapies like acupuncture, for example, or herbal preparations sold in stores. Before beginning any form of treatment or medication not approved by a doctor, it’s a good idea to still reach out to a physician or expert in alternative medicine for advice, or conduct some research online first.
Managing pain in children can be complicated, as kids may have more difficulty communicating their pain to doctors. Children also need to be more carefully monitored when taking most medications.
Health insurance might cover a selection of approved pain management therapies. Every insurance plan is different, so patients should check with their provider to make sure.
Patients might be instructed to continue therapy at home, either through regular exercise or specific treatment. Some people also find that getting frequent rest, taking warm baths or avoiding certain foods, for example, can help manage pain.
Side effects depend on the exact drugs and dosages used, as well as the disease being treated and many other factors. Some pain-relieving drugs, especially opioids, are known to cause drowsiness. Many antidepressants also cause a variety of adverse effects. Doctors must work closely with patients to minimize these side effects in the course of treatment.
